Lands’ End Loves from the Mom 2.0 Summit

In case you hadn’t heard, Jenny and I spent last weekend at the amazing Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel for the Mom 2.0 Summit, our favorite blog conference ever, thanks to Lands’ End.

The location was amazing, the conference was amazing, the people were beyond amazing… and we’ll get to that.

But first, the important things – what we wore.

We were swathed in Lands’ End from head to toe all weekend (although let’s be honest, that’s pretty standard for us no matter where we are!). Lands’ End provided us for the perfect outfits for traveling, sun bathing, conferencing, and partying.

Here are a few of my faves!

First – the conference portion of the weekend. For Friday’s sessions, I wore a linen v-necked dress and added the Stretch Straw Belt and a Coin Charm Stretch Bracelet, and the Parker Mid Wedge Knotted Espadrilles. I loved the whole outfit, but especially the shoes – they are crazy comfortable! I also carried a Medium Colored Open Top Tote Bag throughout the weekend – the monogram made me feel very fancy!

For the conference sessions on Saturday I wore a Short Sleeve Cotton Modal Wrap Dress. There’s really little I love more than a wrap dress – they are so flattering. This one is really soft and comfortable, and the gathered sleeves add a bit of fanciness! I went with silver jewelry – the Large Link Necklace (LOVE) and Classic Hoop Earrings, and for a splash of color I wore the Trista Mid Wedge Leather Slingback Espadrilles in red.

Of course, no conference is complete without parties… and with help from Lands’ End, we were totally set.

The opening event was a beach party. I wore a Patterned Shirtdress from Lands’ End Canvas, with a silver multi-strand necklace and the D-ring Web Belt (both also from the Canvas line), and the Shea Flat Leather Sandals. I loved the whole outfit – it was perfect for a night on the beach!

Friday night was a cocktail party, and then Jenny and I went out for dinner afterwards. I wore one of my very favorite outfits – the Women’s Linen Slit Neck Dress from the Canvas line, with the Skinny Perforated Leather Belt, the Tia T-Strap Sandals, Beach earrings, bracelet and necklace in coral, and – since SoCal is chilly at night (who knew?) – the Crew Neck Cardigan.

The final party was inspired by the Kentucky Derby, and right before we left for Cali, Lands’ End came out with the PERFECT dress – I had to have it. Fortunately, they were so kind as to overnight it to me at the Ritz! It’s a Short Sleeve Linen Colorblock Dress, and I loved it SO MUCH. I added a Wide Nylon and Leather Dress Belt (which worked perfectly with the dress!) and nude Ashby Patent High Heels, and I was ready to drink mint juleps all night long (although sadly, I only had one – they disappeared quickly!).

Just looking at those outfits (not to mention the picture of the view) makes me want to go back! Jenny and I were so proud to represent Lands’ End at the Mom 2.0 Summit – we truly live our lives in Lands’ End and we were thrilled to show everyone at the conference just what Lands’ End has to offer. Stay tuned for Jenny’s outfits tomorrow!

Seriously people – have you SEEN Lands’ End’s fall line?

If you haven’t, you should!! Last night I put the kids to bed and curled up with a glass of tea (ok actually a diet coke but that doesn’t sound classy) and the new Lands’ End catalog and picked out all the things on my “must-have” list. Unfortunately (for my wallet), everything was on that list.

I’m serious – I am in love.

Take a look at a few of my favorites…

Women’s Regular Luxe Wool Swing Car Coat
Women’s Regular Fit 1 Slim Ankle Corduroy Pants
Women’s Regular Sleeveless Silk Ruffle Front Blouse

I could go on and on (and I might) – but let me tell you the most important thing…
The Lands’ End Family + Friends sale starts tomorrow (Thursday, September 27) and runs through Tuesday, October 2 and offers 30% off site-wide plus free shipping with no minimum purchase. To get this deal use promo code FRIENDLY and PIN 2702.

Did you catch that? 30% off, free shipping, and no minimum purchase.

Lands’ End gave us a preview to this sale, and I purchased this dress and cardigan:

Women’s Regular Fine Gauge Supima Crew Cardigan

The dress looks just like that on me, in case you were wondering. *ahem* Anyway, I love Lands’ End dresses (as you might have noticed) and this is no exception. It’s soft and comfortable and I love the detailed shirring on the bodice. The dress was originally $74 but is now on sale for $52.99. I also love the boots. I definitely need those to make the outfit complete. Good thing it’s time for the Friends and Family sale! Of course, the cardigan is a Lands’ End classic made with supima, America’s finest cotton. This year’s version even has real shell buttons, a lovely touch.

Of course, you could buy stuff for your family as well. Jenny is taking advantage of the sale by buying her kids some additional school uniforms, and I just might have to get this sweater for Kate:

Girls’ Long Sleeve Fair Isle Button-front Long Cardigan Sweater

And maybe this for Sammy…

Boys' Full-zip Hoodie Vest

This could be trouble.

What’s your favorite thing?

Accessorize! Mom 2.0, part 3

Right before we left for Mom 2.0, Jenny gave me a hard time about getting a spray tan, which gave her the opportunity to express to all of you the shock she’s experienced since Christmas about the fact that I’ve been getting a little more into accessories as of late. I would like to point out, though, that it’s not that I didn’t like accessories before, it’s more that I was not confident in my ability to do accessories right. I’m still not, actually, but I am trying to get better. Fortunately, for Mom 2.0, I turned to Lands’ End’s website to tell me what to do! They have really cute accessories, shoes and bags right now… take a look at the ones we wore in Florida.

Let’s start with handbags, because they’re my favorite.

This is the Canvas and Leather Stripe Medium Tote.

I love this bag so much! I just love the look and style, and I also love the functionality – the sides unzip to provide more space if needed. I took this when Kate and I went to Portland, and it held my iPad and everything I needed for our flights.

Jenny and I also both carried the Linen and Leather Totes.

Here’s Jenny carrying it in red.

Those last two bags are also currently on sale, in case you need a late Mother’s Day present for yourself!

This Straw Market Tote was my traveling bag – it was perfect for the flights, as well as for the conference… plenty of room for my iPad, conference book, notes, etc. And it is so cute!

Ok, let’s move on… how about some shoes??

When we were waiting in the airport for our first flight, I texted this picture to my friend Gina, with the message “I am sort of obsessed with these shoes.” She immediately responded “Adorbs!! I can see why!!”

Those are the Parker Mid Wedge Knotted Espadrilles and they are also on sale right now! I may have to order the gingham ones.

We both wore the Hadley Linen Mid Wedge Quarter Strap Sandals, Jenny in Classic Navy and me in Natural (with red accents).

Gorgeous, and so comfortable.

Another one of my favorites was the Trista Mid Wedge Leather Slingback Espadrilles.

I think I will probably wear these just about every day all summer. They are perfect for work because they are dressy, cute, and extremely comfortable.

Let’s see… what else.

We also both wore the Amelia Embroidered Closed-back Braided Thongs – Jenny wore the white ones and I wore the Luggage Tan ones to the White Party, and I wore the Cayenne to the Friday night beach party. They also come in Gunmetal and Algae, both of which are lovely as well.

We also wore pearls!! Here’s me with the Pearl Torsade Necklace and Jenny with the Fresh Water Pearl Endless Strand Necklace.

And finally… bathing suits. I think you all know how we feel about Lands’ End bathing suits, but if it’s possible I think we love them even more now than we did before.

Here’s a picture of us on the beach!

Sorry, but that’s as close to you’re getting of pictures of us in bathing suits! But here are the ones we wore.

Jenny went with the Floral Beach Print Tankini, with this cute matching Shadow Floral Chiffon Cover-up Pareo.

I went with the new Lands’ End Swim Mates, and I loooooooooove it. It might be my favorite suit ever. Here’s the deal with Swim Mates, as described by our new friend Nicole Feliciano from MomTrends.

Mix and match swim wear – Love it.

There you have it… how we accessorized for Mom 2.0. Lands’ End had absolutely everything we needed to look and feel great all weekend long!
