Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and there’s nothing more classic than a Hershey’s KISS to celebrate – so we’re giving some away!
Whenever I eat a Hershey’s KISS, I think of my great-grandmother. When I was really young – probably three or four – she lived in an apartment not far from us. I have only one memory of that apartment – the glass jar of Hershey’s KISSES that always sat on the kitchen counter waiting for us kids.
I bet you all have a Hershey’s KISS memory too. Leave a comment sharing your “sweetest” (see how I did that?) Hershey’s KISS memories and you’ll be entered to win four bags of them. You don’t even have to share any with your kids!
My memory is similar to yours: my grandpa always had a bowl of kisses sitting out for us. 🙂
I remember sharing Hershey’s Kisses with my daughter for the first time and how much she loved them.
I received a box of cookies with Hershey’s Kisses on top.
I remember getting one of the giant kisses for Christmas one year. I would eat a bite off of it every day for weeks until it was finally gone.
That would have to be the Christmas my daughter gave me one of the giant Kisses for Christmas. Out of a whole store that is what she had picked out to get for Christmas because she knows her mommy’s love of chocolate! 🙂
My favorite memory is making Christmas cookies – peanut butter with the hershey’s kiss on top.
I remember when I was in elementary school that I won a giant sized Hershey kiss as part of the Valentines celebration. I can remember getting home and me and my brother getting out a knife to chop off pieces to eat. Then I remember the disappointment when we found out that this giant Hershey kiss was actually hollow. This was especially troubling for my brother because there was no longer enough chocolate for me to share!!!
A few weeks before Christmas, I bought Hershey’s Kisses for a cookie recipe, when I began to make them, I discovered the Hershey’s Kisses were gone. My hubby ate them, so he had to get me more, lol 🙂
My stepmom and I used to make cookies with Hershey’s kisses on top when I was a kid.
My favorite Hershey kiss memory is finding my 3 kids with the candy dish sharing with each other. They were sneaking Kisses and even peeling them open for their baby sister who was only 2 at the time!
My grandpa loved hershey’s kisses and I remember being very young, crawling up on his lap and we would eat them like crazy! We still do, by the way!
The best memory – when I gave my grandson his first hershey kiss when he was about 2 1/2 years old. He fell in love with it immediately!
I remember my parents giving me one of the big Hershey’s Kisses for Valentine’s Day one year. It was seriously bigger than a baseball! I have no idea how long it lasted!
Squishing them down into peanut butter cookies with Grandma
Growing up we always made Peanut Blossom or Brown Sugar Blossoms with Kisses in the middle for holidays and for a special treat! And as a newlywed, once I saved all the blue & white Kisses banner papers to use as fun cushioning for a sweetheart gift! 🙂
My best memory is giving them to my kids for the first time.
Thanks for the chance!
I remember receiving one of those giant Hershey Kiss filled candy canes every year at Christmas. There is nothing better than cracking that candy cane open to dig into the chocolate, and nothing worse than realizing you have just eaten the last piece.
Making PB cookies with the kisses on top at Christmas time. Still a must on the Christmas cookie list every year.
My kids using Kisses to make cookies with their Mimi and eating most of them.
Hershey kisses were my indulgent treat when I was pregnant 🙂
My great grandma used to make “squeeze my cheeks and I’ll give you a kiss” characters out of plastic canvas. When you squeezed the cheeks together the mouth opened and inside was a Hershey’s kiss.
When my husband and I got married we used them on the reception tables – the pretty pastel wrapped ones. It was very lovely! Some people suggested confetti on the tables. We had mason jars with wild flowers and beautiful pastel kisses everywhere.
Kisses on snickerdoodle cookies – Yum!
I like to put some in my kindergartener’s lunchbox every so often, like first day of school or Valentine’s day 🙂

My favorite Hershey’s Kisses memories are when my mom used to put them in my lunchbox as a kid. She always seemed to know when I needed a little extra sweetness.
I love giving my son hershey kisses on valentines.
