Last night, I was googling Martin Luther King Day activities for kids, and Nick Jr’s website was the best resource I came across, so I thought I would share it with you. They have a five-page printable storybook, a list of books that introduce Dr. King’s story to kids, and Q&A with parenting expert Dr. Lawrence Cohen, who offers simple steps for talking with your children about differences and diversity.
And who doesn’t love Little Bill?

Also, if you’re looking for fun ways to teach your kids about Inauguration Day, visit another of my favorite websites, FamilyFun.com.
Have a great day!
Thanks, I have been looking for a MLK activity to do with my 5yo.
Thanks for the link – My 3 yo loves Little Bill 🙂
Thanks. I’d like to get my family back into volunteering. Since my son was born, we have not done much. But he is now 18 months and can “sort stuff” like a champ! perfect for sharing rooms and food banks!
