Last night, Jenny, my sister and I went to see “The Help.” It was a good movie and a nice night out, and it reminded me that I really like seeing movies in a theater. I had forgotten, since it happens approximately once a year. Then I saw a “fall movie preview” in my husband’s latest copy of Entertainment Weekly, and voila, I have a list of movies I want to see in the next decade sometime soon.

I miss movies! We went to tons before Molly, might be the thing I miss most from my pre-child life!
One of my most wonderful memories is seeing “The Sound Of Music” at the Dabelle (sic) Theater in Dayton. I was about 12. I loved being engulfed in the action on the screen. We don’t go to the ‘movies’ often, but when we do, it’s a real treat!
I want to see “One Day” for sure.
And…” a good movie and a nice night out”, what the heck kinda movie review is that?

That is a way for me to avoid the complicated thoughts and feelings I had about the movie!
It was very complicated. Hopefully it makes people think. My thoughts were, “how did we ever get there?” and “How far we have come, but how far do we have to go?”
But, then, I’m complicated…

“One Day” was good. Have you read the book?
Jack and Jill? Really??? Watch the trailer. You might change your mind.
Probably – but Jenny & I looooooove us some Adam Sandler!
Now, that Adam Sandler love thing is just sad!
I hadn’t heard of many of those movies…but now I want to see them! I don’t go to movies nearly enough. Have you ever been to one by yourself? I have a friend who goes to movies by herself all the time and LOVES the alone time. I’m not sure I”m there yet! 🙂
I’m excited to see the next Twilight movie in November – Breaking Dawn Part 1! My girlfriends and I go to the midnight showing in a big group – it’s a blast!
