***Please note that my CVS takes competitor coupons. To find out if yours does, you need to ask the store manager.***
I didn’t do too much CVSing for myself this week, but still had fun getting the deals that were to be had. Here’s what I got!
I went into CVS to get some milk and found some great clearance deals!
Milk $2.99
Contour monitor $19.99
Colgate toothpaste w/toothbrush $3.49
2 Crest toothpaste $6.58 (I thought I was buying the ones on sale for $1.99 but I was WRONG! The store didn’t have signs on the ECB items, so it was hard to tell which were correct. Oh well!)
CVS jumbo pack diapers clearanced to 95 CENTS!!
Five Burt’s Bees chapsticks clearanced to 33 cents each!!!
CVS super glue $1.97
Total = $37.62
Coupons I used:
CVS $2/$10
Contour monitor manu q up to $30 off adjusted to $19.99
Crest $1 off manu q
Crest 75 cents off manu q
Two $1 off Crest Walgreens ES q’s
$2 off Colgate toothbrush CRT
$1 off Colgate toothbrush manu q (printable)
Total = $8.88
I paid with 5.79 ECB and a 4 ECB adjusted down and paid $1.15 tax on my CVS gift card I got with a new prescription for Joshua’s eye incident and got back 5 ECB (for buying the monitor plus the Colgate!) Would have been 7 ECB if I’d bought the right toothpaste. BUT OH WELL! I was pretty happy with that haul! I loooove Burt’s Bees!!
Next…
Schick Quattro Titanium razor $7.99
Crest $1.99
Two Oral B toothbrushes $3.98
Total = $13.96
Coupons:
CVS $2/$10
$2 off Schick Quattro Walgreens ES catalog q
Two $1 off Oral B Walgreens ES catalog q’s
One $1 off Crest Walgreens ES catalog q
$1 off Crest manu q
$1 off two Oral B manu q
Total = $4.96
I paid with a $4.99 ECB adjusted down to $4.96, paid 59 cents on my gift card, and got back 8 ECB! 5 for the Schick and 3 for the Oral B/Crest products. WORD, WOOT, and HOLLA!
Finally, my favorite transaction. I think we all know I have a *little* addiction problem issue with Mountain Dew. Well, CVS’ great sale and the fact that there was a competitor’s coupon made this MY WEEK!!
Five 12 packs Mountain Dew 5/$11
Two Oral B toothbrushes $3.98
1 Puffs 88 cents
Total = $15.86
Coupons: CVS $2/$10
Five $1 off Mountain Dew 12-pack Target coupons
Two $1 off Oral B Walgreens ES catalog q’s
One $1 off Oral B manu q
Total = $5.86
I paid with 5 ECB and paid 76 cents on my gift card and got back 2 ECB for the Oral B! Now THAT’S how I like to buy my DEW! (I know, I am tres tres classy.)
And that is all I have to wow you with my friends. Walgreens $5/$20 coupon that came out Friday was too late for me to use BUT I did get to use it when I did my BFF Luanne’s CVSing for her so that was fun too. It’s still good today so if your CVS takes competitor’s q’s. print yours out here and run to CVS!

Ohhhh I’m going to have to keep an eye out for my beloved Burt’s Bees! Thanks for the heads up!
where did you get the new prescription coupon for CVS?
Are there anymore to be had?
Thanks,
Ab
I see that you used Walgreen’s and Target coupons at CVS. I never knew you could use other store’s coupons there. Do ALL CVS’s take them?
Lori is to Dr. Pepper as Jenny is to Mountain Dew.
You can call the CVS Customer Care number and tell them that you bought the wrong item because the tags were not up. I did that the last time I bought toothpaste and I got a little surprise the next time I shopped and got my receipt back!
Wow! You had a great week! I’ll have to keep my eye out and see if my CVS clears out some diapers too! How are the CVS diapers? Have you tried them out yet?
Windy,
I DO like the CVS diapers. I like them alot better than the Playskool brand that CVS sells. (But I love the Playskool wipes!)
happy CVSing!
ohh i need to check my cvs for the clearance burt’s bees! i love that stuff SO MUCH. it’s an addiction! nice job on the cvs! 🙂
