Giggling with Glee over Rite Aid deals

Yes, I know I am a nerd.  But I was practically skipping when I left Rite Aid today.  If an 8-months-pregnant woman could skip, I would’ve!  I got some great deals and started my earnings toward the Rite Aid Gift of Savings program!  From now through December 25th, you can earn Rite Aid gift cards just by shopping!

  • Spend $25-50, get $5 back
  • Spend $51-100, get $10 back
  • Spend over $100, get $20 back

To get your gift cards, just enter your receipts on the Single Check Rebate website just like you do for your SCRs regularly.  I love this program!! It was great last year and I plan to rock it again this year.  So here’s what I got today to get started.

DSC06005

5 Pepsi product 2 Liters $1.25 each = $6.25 (oh my gosh you guys the Lime Crush is SO GOOD I cannot stop drinking it!)

2 Fustion ProGlide razors $9 each = $18

4 Soy Joys $1.25 each = $5

total = $29.25

Coupons:

-$5/$25 Rite Aid printable

-$1.25 buy 4 Pepsi 2 Liters get a free Sierra Mist Rite Aid in-ad coupon

-$1/3 Soy Joy printable

-$8 two $4 off Fusion coupons from today’s P&G

-$9 +UP Rewards from my Thanksgiving shopping spree 🙂

total = $5 + tax = $6.48

I got back $10 +UP rewards, 5 each for the Fusion Razors!! AND I’ve already earned a $5 gift card in the Gift of Savings program, with $29.25 spent before coupons so far. **UPDATE** apparently this year Rite Aid is deducting your use of coupons and +UP Rewards from your total spent.  So I have NOT yet earned a $5 gift card. BOOOOOO!!! This is not how they did it last year!  Of course the +UP Reward program is new, but we should still get credit for any coupons the manufacturer reimburses Rite Aid for, in my HUMBLE opinion!!**

Of course I hope to get all the way to $100 before coupons and get a $20 gift card with minimal out-of-pocket.  We’ll see how little I can spend to get it!! (Who knows how this will turn out now??)

I heart Rite Aid so bad!!

What did YOU get??

  1. ok – got a question for you. I submitted my first receipt the other day towards the Gift of Savings Program. I checked today and it is showing my total as negative 71 cents towards it. It took every coupon & UP reward I used into account. Is that really how it’s going to go? If I literally have to spend $100 after coupons & UP rewards, I won’t even qualify for the smallest gift card!
    Any ideas? I didn’t participate in this last year and I know the UP reward program is new…I’m going to post this on fb too to get anyone elses’ insight should they have any…
