Father’s Day got all crazy and I didn’t get out to CVS and Rite Aid! I got serious hives but I survived. I finally got to run to CVS real quick tonight but Rite Aid is still gonna have to wait. 🙁 I had to hit that sweet diaper deal I posted about! Here’s what I got!
Huggies big box $19.99
Two Colgate Total $5.98
CVS Ibuprofen $3.99
CVS brand pain patches $5.99 (I hurt my back Saturday. OUCH!)
total = $35.95
coupons I used: CVS $5/$25 email coupon (expired yesterday but mine takes them for 30 days – shew!)
two $1 off Colgate from 6/6 insert – $2
-$3 Huggies printable
-$3 Huggies CVS coupon from coupon scanner
total = $22.95
paid with $11.97 in ECBs, total was $10.98 plus $2.17 tax, so paid $13.15 and got back 17 ECB, 10 for the Huggies, 3 for the ibuprofen and 4 for the Colgate! So my net cost was $5.95 for all that – less than the cost of the pain patches. WOOT!
Did you guys hit CVS up yet?
yes! I got the diapers in one, and used the ecb’s to get swim diapers and wipes (that i returned because I oopsed) and got my baby some formula. spent 14.50 out of pocket!
Yes – I was very excited. I got a box of diapers, 2 newspapers (it was Sunday), a tube of toothpaste, and some tic tacs (I was about $.50 under my $25 to use my $5 off). I had ECBs from 2 weeks ago so I paid $6.67 including tax and got $10 back. My husband was impressed.
I haven’t hit up CVS yet, but I did just recently find out that Walmart accepts competitors coupons. I’m not a huge fan of Walmart (just b/c of the stories about how they treat their employees) but I thought that was fantastic! I used Walgreens and Target coupons there! I’m sure you were already aware of this, but just in case! 🙂
