A few weeks ago I told you about some CVS Brand items that were working out well for me, and I mentioned that I liked some of the Playskool products. Well, the nice folks at Playskool saw that post and sent me a couple of their cups to try, this trainer cup, and this insulated flip-top cup.
I had Sophie give them several test runs and here’s what she and I decided! We really liked both cups. The trainer cup Sophie is a bit too old for now. I wish we’d had it when I was first transitioning her to a cup. She loves the soft spout and the handles! But, since it is not a no-spill cup, she also loves dumping her drink out of the spout and playing in the mess. So, again, it’s a great cup and I wish I would have had it ten months ago.
The insulated flip-top straw cup we also both liked alot. It is great to take to the park, because it really does keep drinks cold. Also, since you can flip the top to cover the straw, you don’t have to worry so much about it getting dropped on the ground – as long as you’ve closed the flip-top, the straw will stay clean!
So next time you’re at CVS and you have some Extra Care Bucks burning a hole in your pocket, I recommend spending them on these! Especially if they’re on sale, as the Playskool products often are. After all, they are good enough for Sophie and she’s a famous baby model!
Is the straw one a no-spill cup? My daughter turned one yesterday and I am having a HAAAAAAAAARD time getting her to like a sippy cup. I feel like I’ve tried them all! Any suggestions?
