Manis, Pedis, and Armpits, Oh My!

Sometimes is this bloggy world, you get lucky. And if you get really lucky, you get to spread the luck and love around. That’s what happened to me last week, thanks to Dove Ultimate Deodorant. You see, a couple of weeks ago they sent me an email asking if they could send me and a view bloggy friends to a local day spa to get pampered in celebration of their new Dove Ultimate Beauty Care Light Radiance deodorant.  Ummm…let me think about it…YES!!  Fortunately, I have long been a fan of Dove Ultimate, especially the go Fresh collection.  So I was all about giving my pits some pampering with the Beauty Care Collection.  Because summer is coming, and Cortney expects my pits to look lovely when we hit the pool.   And since Dove Ultimate Beauty Care helps restore the moisture you lose when shaving (and they GOTTA be shaved!), I should be in good shape!

So last Friday, my friends and I slapped some Dove  (they sent me some Ultimate for everyone!) on our pits and headed out to the salon for some girl time and a much-needed mommy break!

The lovely ladies who accompanied me to the spa are: of course my cousin Emily, Katie, Tricia, Elizabeth, Kate, Amy, Celia, and last but CERTAINLY not least,  Andrea. (Cortney couldn’t make it cause her kids got sick – RUDE!)  The girls at Tudor Salon & Day Spa treated us wonderfully!

(I think Amy’s baby boy Brennan was a little bummed out that he wasn’t getting a pedi? Doesn’t he look jealous!?)

We even got CHAIR MASSAGES!! Rumor has it Katie proposed to the massage therapist afterward.  No word on her answer yet!

And mostly, we had a large block of time to sit and chat with friends and DO NOTHING!! It was wooonderful.
