As you all know if you are regular readers of this here blog, I am the World’s Worst Housekeeper. It’s just not my forte, my friends. When I do get around to cleaning, I like tools that make it as easy as possible for me. You are never gonna catch me on my hands and knees scrubbing my floor. This is why I requested not flowers, chocolate, or new clothes for Mother’s Day, but a STEAM MOP. Because a steam mop is gonna make my life easier. (And I totally got it, too, thank you Bobby Rapson!)
Anycrap! I am about to give you a cleaning tool recommendation. Which is ironic, no? But it’s a GOOD ONE!
A few weeks ago I received an email from My Blog Spark on behalf of P&G asking if I’d like to review the Swiffer Sweeper Vac, and I was SOOOOOO EXCITED. I’m not kidding, I was totally geeked out!! Because I have been a dedicated user of Swiffer products for years – they are one of those cleaning tools that make it easy for me. And I had been jonesing for a Sweeper Vac for a long time, but wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the $$. Because what if it wasn’t as wonderful as it seemed?
It. Is. WONDERFUL! It is all that and more. It is the Starbucks of stick vacs. Get one of these babies and you will NOT be disappointed!
When my Sweeper Vac arrived, it also came with a little “kit” to show me how well it worked. It had stuff for me to dump on my floor and vacuum up, like little containers of Cheerios and even HAIR!
I totally cracked up.
Truuuust me, I don’t need them to send me stuff to sprinkle on my floor. I got STUFF on my floor! Cheerios, cracker crumbs, and especially pine needles, courtesy of these two old ladies in my front yard:
Thanks to these pine trees, my hard wood floors are constantly covered with pine needles. Especially after a week like this one, which has been super rainy. Pine needles everywhere.
Argh!
Happily, the Swiffer Sweeper Vac is GREAT at picking up pine needles! And Cheerios, cracker crumbs, pet hair, and dirt in general. I big puffy heart it, and I don’t know what I’ve ever done without it. The Swiffer dry cloth cleans up all kinds of dirt, and the Vac sucks up all the crumbs of my life. It rocks! My favorite, favorite, favorite thing about it is that the BATTERY lasts! I held off publishing this review for a month or so because I wanted to give the battery a good test. After using it several times a week, (true story!) I’ve never had the battery even come close to running out (which is a problem I’ve had with past machines I’ve tried.) My living and dining rooms are pretty good-sized and I also use it on my new fabulous kitchen floor, and I’ve always had more than enough battery to do all three rooms thoroughly. Woohoo!
Ok, so, now for the really fun part. P&G not only gave me a Swiffer Sweeper Vac to keep, they also gave me a $40 gift card to give to one of you so you can get your own Sweeper Vac of Dreams (as I like to call it.) Here’s how to enter!

Good luck and happy Swiffering!
I suppose I most hate to clean the bathrooms because they ALWAYS seem dirty. But really there is no part of the house I enjoy cleaning. It’s not my thing.
I personally hate ALL rooms to clean :-)!!
I hate cleaning our kitchen floor! We enter through the kitchen by the garage and it just stays dirty. No matter how many times I sweep, it’s ALWAYS dirty. So it seems to me anyway.

I hate to clean the kitchen floor.
I hate cleaning the kitchen floor. It’s always dirty and I don’t even know why. It’s a tile floor.
I hate cleaning my kitchen floor.
I’m with you – pine needles haunt me in my sleep, I swear. They are worst in our foyer right by the front door. I feel like I never stop cleaning that area!
Agree with Courtney:: I hate All Rooms, but most especially my kitchen. It’s the main entrance to our house. At least the one that gets used 99 44/100% of time (which happens to be how pure Ivory Soap is. Not a coincidence). Since I work at home, this time of year finds me NEVER wearing shoes, and I absolutely hate walking on kitchen’s tile floor. Can’t you just feel things crunching under foot now?
I HATE cleaning the area around the cat litter box! I have been wanting one of these babies forEVER!!
I hate, hate, HATE cleaning our kicthen floor! NO matter what I do, it always seems to look dirty to me. Pick me random number generator!
And I FB’d it. PS, how is the winner going to be picked on May 20? I’m hoping you meant 5/24.
White bathroom floor never looks good!
Yuck, the kitchen floors are the worst!
My kitchen floor is the worst. Especially when it rains, mud from the dog.
I hate cleaning… someone please find me the person that loves it!

Excuse me, but shouldn’t that be the Redneck Latte of Stick Vacs?
UP
I HATE to mop the kitchen floor….pick me please 🙂
I have a hard time cleaning my living room floor. We have real hardwood floors and I am a total nerd and like to move the furniture and get under everything, so it takes a long time. I’ve been wanting this Swiffer vac for a long time.
I really hate cleaning the bathrooms, but I absolutely will not clean the garage. I leave that to my husband. Too many spiders and creepy crawlers out there!

oh, i forgot. i hate cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom because there are nooks and crannies that collect very small pieces of very smelly items. i can never get it all. and then when i try, it only takes 2 days before it looks like i haven’t cleaned in a year. i think i need this magic sweeper stick.
I HATE cleaning the kitchen floor under the stools – where the kids sit at the island…EVERYTHING gets dropped there and it’s a crumb party – would L O V E to win!!
Dude, I’m not entering because my mother would disown me if I cleaned with any kind of mop product. Bucket and rag for all floors, period. She’s one hardcore lady!
Any room. Is that an acceptable answer? No? Okay so I guess the Kitchen is my least favorite room to clean then. Just thinking about it makes me feel a nap coming on.
I hate to clean the kitchen floor the most.
1. I HATE cleaning my kitchen–but I love how great it looks when it’s clean.
2. I bought a Swiffer Sweeper Vac for myself when they very first came out. Like 4 years ago or something. My battery is just now not lasting long enough to do the whole 1st floor of my house (all hardwood).
3. I loved it so much I bought one for my mom for Mother’s Day. I was scared she’d think it was a crappy Mother’s Day gift (a la a toaster). She loved it so much she
4. bought one for my aunt (her sister) for Christmas a few months later, who thought it was so great she bought it for
5. my cousin (her daughter) for her birthday.
As you can see, the sweeper vac is one of my family’s greatest favorite bestest things! So PICK ME to get this gift card so I can buy one for my best friend from college who is getting married in June!
I hate cleaning the bathroom…and the kitchen…and the living room….and the bedroom…BUT mostly the bathroom!!!
Laundry is my biggest failure… that’s still cleaning, right?
My mom is so in love with her Swiffer Jet that she actually shows it off to people when they come visit her house. (While I stand there thinking “mom, really, no one wants to see your vacuum….” ;))
Tweet, tweet: http://twitter.com/AmazingGreis/status/14433704169
Definitely the dining room after my 16 month old eats any meal!!
The bathroom floor. It collects all the mulch from the playground when stripping the kids to get in the bath.
I hate cleaning the bathroom for three reasons:
1.) The tub. I hate the soap scum. Hate hate hate it.
2.) My hair. I have so much of it, and I shed like none other. It’s everywhere.
3.) The hairspray. I have what is apparently an insane addiction to hairspray. And it coats everything in a sticky grit. And it’s a pain in the butt to scrub up.
I hate cleaning the entire main floor…all hard wood floors that are just a pain!
The .. er. hmm… bathroom I guess.. cause I have 4 boys hehehe
if the inside of your house can be considered a room, then that is my vote. The inside of my house!
I dislike vacuuming my dining room/living room the most. Uggg, housework! Great giveaway!
I don’t like to clean the bathroom.
I hate cleaning the kitchen the most, because I’m always dirtying it up! lol
thanks!
I would use it in the kitchen. I’m a firm, FIRM believer that the only proper way for me to clean the floor is on my hands and knees. But being 7 1/2 pregnant, I broke down and bought a map. One that actually worked would be fantastic.
I can not stand cleaning the kitchen…as soon as it is clean, another meal comes along and it is just dirty all over again!
The room I hate to clean most is the bathroom but the floor I hate to clean most is the kitchen. There is constantly hair from the dog and crumbs from the kids and the it is huge.
I despise cleaning my living room, our living room also has our dining table and it’s right off the kitchen. it is ALWAYS a mess! I also seriously dislike my gianormous vacuum and have been trying to talk my husband into buying a new one!
Hands down, the kitchen. I despise my kitchen floor and am hoping my husband will replace it soon. But, in the meantime, I still need to clean it and keep my kids from tracking filth around the whole house!!
My kitchen floor and I are sworn enemies. It is white tile. I have 3 kids. Enough said!
Ugh..the kitchen floor. I mean, we do TONS of cooking and baking…wow…the junk that gets down there.
I have wanted one of these for soooooo long! With little ones crawling on my wood and tile floors I NEED THIS! My black and white kitchen floor is. the. worse. With six children and a husband coming in and out of the kitchen entrance from the backyard, I can never keep this floor clean enough…grrr!
