Giveaway: $50 credit to Snapfish!

I started using Snapfish in college. Back then, I would package up my rolls of film in the pre-paid Snapfish mailer and ship them off. They’d develop them into lovely prints but the kicker was that they’d ALSO post them online and I could send them to my friends. In the pre-Facebook, pre-scanner days, this was a VERY BIG DEAL!

Snapfish is still going strong, and they’ve got a lot of products that would make great gifts for the holidays. They’ll put pictures on just about anything – from coffee mugs to neckties to boxer shorts! You could probably do all your holiday shopping right from their site. And, of course, they’ve got holiday cards.

Snapfish allowed me to try out their card making software, and it was fun! Here’s what I came up with.

Such cuties!

And here’s where it started to go downhill… I started to get a little punchy with the captions.

As cute as those are, none of the above is what I picked for our actual Christmas card. I didn’t want to give it away! But believe me, it is adorable.

Snapfish has holiday cards for every budget, and now through November 30 they’re offering free shipping on two or more orders of cards. That saved me $8.99! Just use coupon code 2CARDSFS. They also have several other specials going on – make sure to click on their “special offers” page!

  1. I ordered from snapfish last year and might again this year, hopefully I can win this gc and would be a huge help 🙂

  2. Planning to do a photo card with a picture of our 1 year old daughter. So far, I’ve procrastinated and only have 8 cards which came with her 1 yr photo session. Winning this would give me the motivation to get going 🙂

  3. I usually do photo cards, but last year I made simple cards turning my son’s handprint into a Santa. I haven’t decided what we will do this year. Something easy, I hope!

  4. I love makign photo cards for Christmas! I made a bunch of different ones last year through another photo site. I have not tried Snapfish yet, but would definitely love to give them a try!

    I like you on FB!

  5. I like to be creative with my Christmas cards. Last year I used some of my own photos and hope to do so again this year or to spend more time & scrap/piece work some of them. Selecting just the right photo may take time, though, because I take sooooooooo many photos in a year!!!

  6. I already have my Christmas picture of my two boys in their camoflauge PJ’s. Just waiting on a great deal like this to get them printed. Thanks!!

  7. Oh gee…this might be my first year doing christmas cards. I won’t even know what to do. First year not living with my parents 🙂

  8. Designing Christmas cards starts early in the year when I select the place and then finalized it at Thanksgiving. It is my favorite tradition.

  9. I love doing Christmas cards – this year, we’ll do a cute picture (or 2!) of my son and also send out our new address!

  10. I plan to make cards as soon as my son’s school gets their Christmas photos done. I plan to use either Snapfish or Shutterfly (whomever has the best deal).

  11. Two weeks ago, a friend of mine came over to our house and snapped a few (736 to be exact) family pictures for us . (Us as in my mom, dad, 3 sisters, my son, and myself) She had her hands full! One is this beautiful picture of my son playing in between two “Christmas” trees as he calls them. And that is what I’m using for our Christmas cards. Would love the Snapfish credit!!

  12. I’m trying to coordinate with my children to take pictures with them. Hopefully we’ll get it done in time to upload them for customized Christmas cards.

  13. My Christmas cards are done and were put in the mail this morning!! Yes, I’m on top of things, it’s my yearly tradition to get them out the Wed. of Thanksgiving week so everyone starts getting them on Friday. (No worries, yours is in the mail!!)

But I do love Snapfish and have bought Photobooks from them. My cards were created and purchased from Wal-Greens this year.

  14. I plan on using a cute picture of my kids for our Christmas cards this year, I have the cards, just have to narrow my photo choices down to one! 🙂

  15. I usually send cards that I bought on sale after xmas the year before…slim pickins last year. I’d luv to send something new and fancy, thanks.

  16. Christmas cards have already been handed out! Thanks to a Snapfish sale back in October! I’d love this credit for some photo calendars I like to do for my inlaws for Christmas.

  17. My plans are to order cards from either Snapfish or Shutterfly. If I win this it’ll of course be Snapfish! I love both services the two sites offer.

  18. I used to use snapfish for actual film back in college too. It seems like forever ago since we used real film but I haven’t been out of school that long, have I?

I haven’t decided on our christmas cards for this year yet!
