Giveaway: $50 credit to Snapfish!

I started using Snapfish in college. Back then, I would package up my rolls of film in the pre-paid Snapfish mailer and ship them off. They’d develop them into lovely prints but the kicker was that they’d ALSO post them online and I could send them to my friends. In the pre-Facebook, pre-scanner days, this was a VERY BIG DEAL!

Snapfish is still going strong, and they’ve got a lot of products that would make great gifts for the holidays. They’ll put pictures on just about anything – from coffee mugs to neckties to boxer shorts! You could probably do all your holiday shopping right from their site. And, of course, they’ve got holiday cards.

Snapfish allowed me to try out their card making software, and it was fun! Here’s what I came up with.

Such cuties!

And here’s where it started to go downhill… I started to get a little punchy with the captions.

As cute as those are, none of the above is what I picked for our actual Christmas card. I didn’t want to give it away! But believe me, it is adorable.

Snapfish has holiday cards for every budget, and now through November 30 they’re offering free shipping on two or more orders of cards. That saved me $8.99! Just use coupon code 2CARDSFS. They also have several other specials going on – make sure to click on their “special offers” page!

  1. I intend to actually SEND Christmas cards this year. The snapfish credit would do a lot toward getting me started. ::sigh:: I haven’t sent them in 2 years. My husband even commented last year. Which makes me feel like even more of a scrooge.

  2. My Christmas card were already purchased by my photographer. However, I am making photo books for the “grandparents” and the $50 credit would be awesome!!!!

  3. I think I’m going to send Happy New Year cards this yr instead. We’re moving in January, so then I could use the new yr cards to let everyone know our new address.

  4. I wasn’t planning on sending cards – just an email letter with pictures…maybe this will change my mind!

  5. oops delete the comment about family plans. I already ordered my Christmas cards just waiting on them to be shipped 🙂

  6. I always set up a big display in the living room and dining room and run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get a cute picture of my kid. I always do, but I’m sure it’s a sight to see. My son’s 6 month & 1 year picture was easy. Last year, at age 2, was a lot different. Crazy. I’m thinking this year will be the same. 🙂

  7. Not sure yet about our Christmas card plans this year…gotta see if we have enough money in the budget for it this year!

  8. i always send photocards for the holidays…gives everyone a chance to see how much my 2 little girls have grown…plus its fun taking the pics (last year we sent out one w/mt 2 yr old make a funny face in her christmas dress!!)

  9. my christmas card plans are to order from snapfish actually! we used snapfish for our birth announcements and loved them! it was so easy too!

  10. I now am a “liker’ of you on Facebook! Hooray! Sorry, I don’t tweet, so I can’t Twitter. 😉

  11. I so need to get the move on my Christmas cards. I haven’t even had our family pics done yet. Hopefully this weekend I’ll get started.

  12. I always send out a picture of the kids. I’m still waiting on some freebie offers like last year before I order any!

  13. We have done photo cards for years now…I love them! So easy and so cute! We do a Christmas letter to send along with the cards and put a short handwritten note on most of them. The kiddos do an assembly line of stuffing and stamping and off they go!

  14. I make my boys wear matching PJ’s and then I take a picture of them in front of our tree. Our tree is decorated with art projects that the kids do through out the year and I just add a hook to them! So the kids usally pose in front of their artwork on the tree!

  15. The last two years in a row, I bought cards and never got around to writing in them and sending them. This would make it so much easier!

  16. I usually start my cards the day after Thanksgiving …. we relax with left overs make our lists and get our cookie baking lists in order too….. my sis is more of an e mail kinda card girl… so this year I want to make her a set of photo cards to send….. it’s a special year… she got married this year so I think this would be a pretty good surprise…..:) hoping to win….:)
