Deep Thoughts

I can’t put coherent thoughts together presently, so here is a list of some of the random stuff knocking around my brain:

1) The “How I Met Your Mother” season finale was a big disappointment. I wish they would have thrown in a Robin Sparkles video for funzies.

2) My husband is totally cute and also the best guy ever. He has totally held us together during my intermittent vacations to crazy town.

3) I want EVERYTHING from the sale section at Shade Clothing. I have major t-shirt lust.

4) You can go win my pants at Blissful Style. You will also have a chance to win them next week here on Mommin’ It Up!

5) Sophie “reading” Moo, Baa, La La La is pretty much the cutest thing ever and I hope to get it on video for you soon!

6) Emily is almost 30 and even though I know she will never be as old as me (although she acts like a total geezer) I am very glad that she will soon have a “3” in front of her age. Mu-ha-ha-HWAH-HA-HA!

7) Tonight, we’re going to party like it’s 1999.

8 ) My husband has started tweeting. He’s @rapson2000. Follow him!

9) I am now the proud owner of a PILL SPLITTER. So, maybe I am the geezer here. Yikes.

10) I have Kelly Clarkson’s “Without You” in my head and I love that song and I really need that CD!

  1. good news, jenny!!!…contrary to popular belief, last night was NOT the finale. it is next week. last night was just the finale of TBBT, which i thought was kind of lame. i wanted penny and leonard to at least kiss. i thought HIMYM was lame last night and was worried that it was the season finale so i looked it up and it was not the finale. i think it is next week. i am hoping for some movement on the barney-robin romance. i read on a message board that they had to film the scenes early because robin is pregnant in real life and they didn’t want to have to hide her belly in the scenes. speaking of, tom and i laughed at lily’s baby belly last night. they did a crappy job at hiding it.

  7. Pretty soon you’ll be able to change your “about” thingy to “Emily and Jenny are thirtyish cousins . . .” I can’t believe little Em is about to be 30 — she was but a wee tot when we met, lo, these many years ago . . .

  10. Sorry I can’t make it tonight, I really wanted to be there, but major home improvements have taken over my life outside of work and the kids. Pray for me that I get me house back together some time this month. And get the racoons out of my attic. Hope you girls have fun tonight, I look forward to hearing about it from Krista and reading about it tomorrow.

  11. “‘No no,’ you say. that isn’t right. these pigs go ‘oink’ all day and night.” I miss those board books! My girls preferred the red hat green hat book, with emphasis on the OOPS!

    Haven’t watched HIMYM yet… still on the DVR. Robin Sparkles is AWESOME… I so want to find her CD at a garage sale in a Toronto neighborhood this summer.

    I’m jealous of Leonard’s blanket with sleeves.

    HAHA! Pill splitter… are those found near the orthopedic shoes and knee highs in the old lady section of CVS?

    I so need sleep!
