This spring I was on a quest to find the perfect trench coat. I tried on a bunch of them at the mall but I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, so I researched the crap out of it (yes, I researched a coat purchase) and upon deciding I was not going to spring for one from Burberry (it’s not that I don’t want to spend $1k on a jacket…), I instead went with one from Banana Republic.
It is perfect, and I love it.
It was a splurge (though on a much lower level than the Burberry!) but it is great quality and a classic, and I know I’ll wear it for years to come. And it makes me feel great, so it was worth it!
