SuperCousins Trick-or-Treat, Take 2!

After a rain-out of Beggar’s Night on October 31st, we were finally able to continue our Halloween cousins trick-or-treat tradition on Saturday night. As usual, it was a great time, and although a bit chilly, the weather was much improved! And of course, the kids were adoooorable!

Halloween take 2: Wolverine and Spider-Man @momminitup
Sam as Wolverine and Joshua as Spider-Man – pretty tough!

We weren’t sure how Jonah would do, but he ROCKED trick-or-treat in his Thomas costume!
Trick-or-treat take 2: Snow(phie) White
Sophie’s Snow White costume was made by the $3 wig I found on clearance at Target yesterday. Trick-or-treat postponement FOR THE WIN!

Kate was a very adorable Panda bear. Face painting courtesy of Aunt Anna! Photo-bombing courtesy of cousin Joshua.

It was really a wonderful night. Emily’s niece and nephew were equally adorable in their handmade costumes. But they aren’t pictured because we’re pissed at Anna for being so crafty and showing us up! Just kidding. I mean, we are pissed, but they are not pictured for privacy reasons. (Privacy? What’s that?)

I’m so thankful we got to continue our trick-or-treat tradition, and I’m even happier that Jonah did so well on his first time walking the block with the big kids. He didn’t even want to put on his costume at first, but he ended up really having a blast! And his “Trick or treat please” was the cutest thing you’ve ever heard!

It was also much more relaxing not having Beggar’s Night be on a SCHOOL night – we didn’t have to rush to get to Emily’s house or rush home to get the kids in bed. It was an all-around success, and I can’t wait until next year!

What did your little goblins get dressed up as for Halloween this year?

  1. Ellen was the cutest little Doc McStuffins you’ve ever seen, and the twins were a zebra and leopard! Cutest ever!!

  2. Always one of my favorite nights of the year! But I am totally campaigning to have Beggar’s Night on Saturday from here on out.

  3. My 5 year old son was aolice officer. He had a blast, even though it was pouring down rain. My 4 month old was a pink owl. We stayed home and passed out candy. I agree that it should always be on a Saturday. So much less stressful!
