Emily and I are proud to be joining Pampers in helping to spread the word about their One Pack = One Vaccine program. This program, is part of a global initiative with UNICEF to wipe out maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT). MNT is a preventable disease that claims the lives of approximately 128,000 infants and 30,000 mothers in less industrialized nations each year – that’s approximately one death every four minutes.
For every specially marked pack of Pampes diapers and wipes you purchase through May 1st in the U.S. and Canada, the funds for one life-saving vaccine will be donated! So by doing something you do ANYWAYS, you can help save a life! In addition, if you are part of the Pampers Gifts to Grow program, you can redeem Gifts to Grow points for a special onesie that will also trigger the donation of a vaccine.
Here’s what this awesome campaign has accomplished in past years, from the campaign’s website:
Funding from the “One Pack=One Vaccine” program has been essential to helping UNICEF provide much-needed tetanus vaccines to help protect moms and their newborn babies in developing nations against tetanus.
1. In the 2008 North America campaign, Pampers provided funding to UNICEF for over 50 million tetanus vaccines to help protect moms and their newborn babies against tetanus.
2. In the 2009 campaign in North America, Pampers aims to raise funds to help provide an additional 30 million vaccines.
3. Thanks to Pampers’ funding, the total global donations have helped UNICEF provide more than 100 million vaccines through August 31, 2008, and the North American goal was far exceeded.
4. The global campaign goal is to provide funding for more than 200 million life-saving tetanus vaccines over the next three years.
So go out and getcha some Pampers, and together we can save a life!! To get you excited about this campaign, Emily and I have a coupon for one FREE pack of Pampers to give away! Here’s how to enter:

To be perfectly honest, my MIL buys our Pampers. She started when my son was born, and just never stopped. Who am I to interfere? I think she buys them on base though. We have to fill in every once in awhile, and most recently we bought a huge case from diapers.com.

CVS of course!!!!!!
We’re definitely a Pampers family, and we get them wherever there’s a deal, of course! Lately that has been Target and Diapers.com. Thanks for the chance at your contest!
I also subscribe to your blogs via Reader. Thanks!
Even though I buy whatever diapers I can get on the cheap (usually CVS), I think Pampers are the superior choice, and I get really excited when they’re the ones I can afford that week. And what a great cause!
And I subscribe in Google Reader (BTW – any idea why only the first few sentences shows up in reader? I always have to click through to your site to read the whole post…)
I buy my Pampers where the sale is that week. 🙂 Normally I get them at CVS or Target.
I also just registered for your feed.
I buy mine at Safeway, on sale, with coupons (that tidbit was for Jenny ;)). They are my absolute favorite diaper brand.

Target usually has the best deals in my area.
We get Pampers at Target!
I buy my Pampers at CVS or Target. With 2 in diapers, you have to shop the sales!
I don’t usually buy diapers (as I don’t have any kids) but if I happen to win the coupon, I’d give the diapers to our battered women’s shelter in Columbia. They take in women and children and are always in need of diapers. So I guess I’d either get them from CVS or Target.
CVS, Target, or Babies’R’Us – depends on where I have the best coupon!!!!
I am entering this giveaway for someone I know who is pregnant and REALLY NEEDS A BREAK!! My babies are 18 and 22.
However, I bought my diapers, PAMPERS, at Toys R US Way back then!!!

I am strongly opposed to some of UNICEFs policies and refuse to donate money to them. I was really frustrated that pampers started this campaign because I didn’t want to have to find new diapers. However, despite my general opposition to UNICEF, it is hard to argue w/ this specific program. I’m glad they are doing something good for children in the world considering all of the bad.
