It’s a “Vicks Season” giveaway!

I’m super, super, SUPER excited to be bringing you a giveaway of some of my favorite Vicks products!  I LOVE being a Vicks Blogger, because I LOVE their products.  I think I’ve made that pretty clear in my other posts on the subject, but I can’t say it enough!

Instead of “cold & flu season” I think this time of year should be called “Vicks season” – ’tis the season to be using these great products that can bring you relief from the colds and flu that hit so many of us hard this time of year.  Why give “cold & flu” all the credit? Let’s re-name this time of year after my favorite remedies!

  1. I grew up using vicks vapo rub, so I am still a huge fan and my kids love it when they are stuffy too!

  5. Gotta go with the BabyRub as my fave product… and I didn’t even know it existed until recently! I don’t know how I missed this. I was putting a thin layer of the regular stuff on my son’s feet when he was sick… but now it’s always the BabyRub!

  6. The smell of VapoRub truly gives me warm fuzzies and memories of being a child and being nurtured by my mom when I was sick. Funny how being sick can be a good memory, but I do think parents and children form even more special bonds on those sick days!

  11. I need a germ-free humidifier. I’m afraid to use a regular one since my boys have ashma. My favorite vicks product is definitely baby vapor rub!

  12. My favorite memory is putting baby vapor rub on my sons chest with his very first cold. He slept all night which was a huge relief!

  21. My favorite Vicks memory is from when I was really little and my sister and I had colds. My father wanted to put some Vicks on our chests, but we hated the smell and would cry. Then, he told us that Vicks was a magic ointment that would make the sickness go away. I tell my three year old the same thing to this day.

  23. My memories are so vivid. I remember so many times my grandmother rubbing vicks on my chest when I was congested and it really did make a difference. I still remember the smell.lol

  26. My favorite memory would have to be when I was sick and my Mom would rub my back and chest with Vicks then tuck me in!

  32. My favorite is vicks Vaporub- helps so much when the boys have respiratory issues in the winter!! And just like you Jenny, it totally reminds me of my childhood!!

My favorite memory is not sickness related though- a few weeks ago the boys got haircuts and I bought some pomade to style their Justin Bieber dos…Owen decided to put some “lemon gel” in Griff’s hair when we got home- when I was in the other room- I smelled it and it was definitely Vicks Vaporub!!!! Took 3 washings with Dawn dish soap to get out :)!!!

  37. My favorite memory would be using Vicks products for my girls this past November. They were both sick with colds at the same time and were both coughing constantly. At night, I would put Vicks VapoPads in their waterless vaporizers and then put Vicks VapoRub on their chests and their feet, add some socks and in about 10 minutes, it would finally be quiet and calm at my house!

  39. My vicks memory is my grandma being wrapped up in a robe, smelling like vicks, nursing her cold. She swears by the stuff.

  42. I love VapoRub for a cough. Most people don’t think of it for that. I have a hard time using cough medicine. It makes me jittery and then at night I can’t sleep. I was looking for an alternative and found that Vick’s works for cough too. I rub it on my chest, throat, and feet. Now I also use it on my children. I swear by this stuff!

  49. My favorite memory is hearing about the crazy people who put Vicks on their feet and then put socks on to stop a cough…and it works?!
