It’s a “Vicks Season” giveaway!

I’m super, super, SUPER excited to be bringing you a giveaway of some of my favorite Vicks products!  I LOVE being a Vicks Blogger, because I LOVE their products.  I think I’ve made that pretty clear in my other posts on the subject, but I can’t say it enough!

Instead of “cold & flu season” I think this time of year should be called “Vicks season” – ’tis the season to be using these great products that can bring you relief from the colds and flu that hit so many of us hard this time of year.  Why give “cold & flu” all the credit? Let’s re-name this time of year after my favorite remedies!

  1. I should totally win , I love the vapor rub so much. I may have a vapor rub addiction, lol. I haven’t tried lemon either but, now I’m intrigued.

  4. My fave memory is when I figured out that putting Vick’s on my baby’s feet made his cough better. I thought it was weird, but it works.

  12. someone told me to put vaporub on my feet (and then socks on) to help bronchitis when i was pregnant & couldn’t dose up on drugs. it worked, and my feet felt great!

  13. I didn’t grow up with Vicks but my husband does and whenever either of us need VapoRub we always ask for a “love rub” because that’s what his mom always called it.

  18. My favorite memory was last night when my husband told me they have Vicks tissues but did not bring any home to me. I am holding a grudge

  19. My fav product is Vicks VapoRub…I looooove it. My favorite Vicks memory is my momma lovingly rubbing Vicks on my chest when I was little. She would rub it in while singing a beautiful song, and then cover me up and kiss my head. To me, Vicks = love. 🙂

  23. I recently was that person at Target. My cart consisted of Vicks vaporub, Vicks vaporub for babies, Vicks plug-in for babies, and the Vicks plug in refills. My husband won’t let be BUY the VIcks humidifier because we already have a regular humidifier, no matter how much I try to tell him they are DIFFERENT and do DIFFERENT things. So I’d love to win one and then he can’t say anything :o) My favorite memory is my morning on Saturday after buying these products and using them all on Friday night. Now if only I could add the Vicks humidifier to my army against the winter crud…

  24. I love the original. I have it everywhere in the car, at my desk, at my house, I wish I could find the tiny metal travel tins but alas no. I use it for everything from headaches to mosquito bites. I tried the lemon and while it wasn’t my fave it will do in a pinch.

  31. I REALLY need this for my daughters room! She is 11 wks old and now suffering from lots of boogs in her nose and dried yuckies in there. We have baseboard heat so the air is horribly dry! I LOVE Vicks products!!! My favorites are: Vicks Dayquil and Nyquil (can’t live without those when I’m sick), Vicks VapoRub for the chest (and put on feet with socks to cure what ails ya!) and Vicks SINEX!!! Sinex is the greatest thing EVER invented….seriously. It’s the only thing that helps the sinus infections I get often. It totally opens you up for hours on end.

  33. Favorite Vicks Memory: all the times I have been sick…taking my Nyquil, slathering on the Vicks VapoRub and hitting the sack! Love the feeling of knowing I will be better in the morning and getting a good nights rest with the help of Vicks!

  37. I have always been told by my grandma to put it on my feet. On day I was sitting over at my grandparents house and I was sick. I was laying on the couch sick as a DOG my grandpa took my socks off and started rubbing it on my feet. I don’t know if it helped or not but I felt better the next day.

  38. My favorite product is the Vicks humidifier that we have for the kids. Luckily, we haven’t had them both sick at once, because we only have one humidifier! With #3 on the way, it would be awesome to have 2 to rotate around 🙂

  39. I don’t know if this is a favorite memory, exactly, but it’s probably my favorite VapoRub use. I sniff it when I’m nauseous during my pregnancies. It really works!!

  48. I don’t know if they even still make them, but I used to love these things you’d drop in the shower that would get all steamy and menthol-y while you showered. Not only did the hot shower make me feel better, but my sinuses were totally cleared out!

  50. So I know this isn’t how it’s marketed, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, but my dad *eats* a little dollop of VapoRub at night when he’s sick. His cousin remembers eating a Vicks Sandwich (Vicks slathered between 2 pieces of Wonder Bread). So Vicks VapoRub always makes me laugh, because of how wrong my family uses it.
