Holiday Giveaway Bash – Win Photo Gifts from Shutterfly!

In case you haven’t noticed, I am totally “that mom” when it comes to pictures of my kids. I’ve got them in my office at work, all over my house, and I am forever uploading them to Facebook and TwitPic. Not to mention this here blog. They are so cute, I can’t help it! I also can’t help sharing their little mugs with their grandparents and great-grandparents when the holidays roll around. One of my favorite ways to do that is through photo gifts at Shutterfly.

I’ve used Shutterfly for picture prints (at least I did the last time I ordered prints, which was, ahem, right after Sam was born. Two and a half years ago.), Christmas cards, and Sam’s birth announcements. One thing I love – you can order prints online and pick them up at CVS, Walgreens OR Target! Shutterfly also has an amazing line of gifts. A couple years ago, my brother-in-law scanned all of my grandfather’s old slides, and then I used Shutterfly to make them into a photo book to give my grandma for Christmas. It was such a neat gift. The following year I used Shutterfly to make a wall calendar for her – I paired up one of the old pictures with a current one with a similar theme, so a picture of my mom and her brother at Christmas was put next to a picture of my own kids at Christmas. That calendar is one of my personal favorites! Shutterfly’s prices are very reasonable and I’ve always been pleased with the quality.

Wall calendars make great gifts! Not only does Grandma get to look at the faces of her little angels every day, it’s also something that is useful. Personalized Stationery
Like I said, I used Shutterfly for Sam’s birth announcement, and they were super easy to make (which is important when you’ve got a newborn!) and very cute. Today’s giveaway is for a set of 25 4×5 cards (and envelopes) – while they obviously make adorable birth announcements, they also make great holiday cards, thank you cards, or plain note cards. You can choose whichever design you want!

CenterStage Book
CenterStage books were new to me – I didn’t know Shutterfly offered such a thing. You can put your kid’s picture in a book with her favorite characters! Sesame Street, Diego, Dora and more… How cute is that? I still have a book from when I was a kid that was typed on a typewriter, but I thought it was about the coolest thing ever when I read about Emily and her friend Lori and their adventures on Sesame Street. Technology has come a long way! They also have posters where you can put your child in with Hannah Montana, GI Joe and more.

  30. Like you I’d never seen those CenterStage books before- very cool! I also love to do photo mugs- my kids’ grandparents love seeing the kids’ cute faces as they sip their morning coffee or tea. We’re probably due to give some new ones this year…
