It’s almost time for Halloween, and Jenny and I are excited for the 11th annual Halloween Party for Second/Sixth Cousins!
We want you to get into the spirit (see how I did that?) as well, and we’re excited to partner with Meijer on this giveaway!
Meijer has everything you need for the Halloween season – decorations, costumes, baking items, candy, and more. They were kind enough to send me a few of their Halloween items to check out, and now our house is ready for cousins – and trick-or-treaters – to descend.
The kids and I had fun decorating the house, and I particularly loved the vinyl stickers on the front door. They’re removable and reusable, so I’ll keep them for next year as well!
So, back to the giveaway… Meijer will send our winner a gift basket that includes candy, Halloween plates and cups, a bag of cobwebs, Wilton cupcake papers, and a party centerpiece.
To enter, leave a comment and tell us what you and/or your kids are going to be this Halloween! The contest ends on October 19. Good luck!
My daughters are 23 & 19, so they don’t go trick-or-treating anymore. I don’t dress up to pass out candy, but my 19 year old works at an elementary latchkey program and she is dressing up as Minnie Mouse!
This year our family of four is going as pirates! We’ve been able to put together most of costumes from home and consignment sales!
Taking our toddler on her 1st trick-or-treat adventure. Her ’80s inspired aerobics costume should knock the socks off of most of the costumes this year.
Either a monkey or a bumble bee…depends on the weather!
My kid is going to be Queen Elsa from Frozen.
My grandsons are going to be Brewster from Chuggington and Buddy from Dinosaur Train! They are going to look adorable!
My kid will be a Tardis.
We are going to be cats and dogs.
I always dress up as a witch.
All three of our kids birthdays are within a week of Halloween. So needless to day it is our favorite holiday. We have a huge Halloween blowout every year. This year is no different. We also go all out on costumes. My daughter is going a Maleficent. One of my twin boys is going as a zombie football player and the other as a zombie cowboy. Can’t wait!
One of my girls is being a unicorn and the other is being a My Little Pony. I am making the costumes and haven’t even started yet!
i think my kid will go with her comicon costume – vin from mistborn
I’ve got a Queen Elsa and her Olaf (5 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son). 10 yr old son hasn’t decided yet but will probably end up wearing his football uniform (real original, huh?)
My 6 year old son is a huge Star Wars fan, and he’s dressing up as Darth Vader. My 1 year old daughter will be a ghost. We are so excited for Halloween this year.
we’re having some friends over for a spooky halloween bash at our place!
Taking our 4 year old construction worker out for his 1st trick or treat, while my husband corrals our 17 month old monkey!
My granddaughter will be a Lallapaloosy ??!!
I am going to be a witch this Halloween.
My niece is going to be a panda! I don’t normally dress up!
Dressing up is such fun! :). One child is dressing up as a Marvel character or a spy, while the others are going with Star Wars, as a Jedi and as an Ahsoka. 🙂
My daughter is going to be minnie mouse and my son will be raphael from teenage mutant ninja turtles.
We haven’t decided what to be yet–we’re thinking characters from a video game 🙂
we are going to be a family of wearwolves
