The Olympics are almost here!!! ONE MORE WEEK! I am more than a little excited.

Our athlete is soccer player Alex Morgan. I can’t wait to watch her play! One of Alex’s favorite things to do in her spare time is yoga. I am with her on that one – I love yoga so much. I love how it makes my body feel, but also how it helps me calm my mind. It’s a great way to take care of the whole self.

  1. I like the Warrior pose – it makes me feel strong and in control! As full disclosure I have only done yoga on my Wii Fit – never actually taken a class, but I love it on the Wii!

  2. I take better care of myself by trying to keep my body on the move. I’ve worn a pedometer for almost a year now and it really is a fabulous motivator for me to take the stairs, park a little further away at the grocery store, things like that.
    I try to better myself by staying in the Word and prayer to strengthen my faith.

  3. I love My Coke Rewards and have already been visiting their site and viewing the products and also trying my hand at their Olympic Instant Wins. That’s where I first heard about the 8-pack. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Alex is awesome! She scored the winning goal for the USWomen’s team in the last Women’s World Cup. It was THRILLING. I love her pink headband she always wears. ๐Ÿ™‚

    I have never taken Yoga for a class. But on my Kinect, I really like the Warrior pose, too. I would also like to try the Downward Dog, since it sounds so ridiculously funny.

  5. I am running again, and I always feel so good when I get back. Well, let me be honest. Most of the time, I feel completely crappy when I get back (downside of having to run uphill to get home). But, I am always proud of myself for doing it.

  6. I really want to get in the habit of exercising everyday. Right now it is hit or miss depending on how stressed out I am and/or how difficult my kids are being. Once my baby gets a bit older I really want to focus more on that. Also, I need to drink more water. I don’t mind drinking water, I just forget to do it sometimes!

  7. to take better care of myself, i’ve been keeping an eye on my portions, and nixing the nibbles from my kids snacks

  8. I taught yoga in my summer school class! I would like to add a little more flexibility and nutrtional mindset to living healthy!

  9. I have never tried yoga but have always wanted to. I guess the pose I would like to try would be the half moon pose since it looks like it would feel rather good.

  10. I am going to start exercising and eating better that is my goal for taking better care of myself.

  11. The only yoga I ever do is on the Wii. I’m pretty good at the first pose–I think it’s the tree. Beyond that, my balance sucks!

  12. I’m nursing my 6 week old, so I’m trying to get as much sleep as possible and drink tons of water.

  13. I haven’t done much yoga but I love the Plank with the alternating knee-in’s…so good for your abs! ๐Ÿ™‚ even if it almost kills ya ;D

  14. I just joined WW to try and better myself….need to drop a few pounds and figured this might work for me! I am super excited about the Olympics. I hope I can convice one of the kids to watch with me since my husband is not a fan. Boo to him.

  15. I always check out My Coke rewards…just ordered a subscribtion to In Style using some points a few weeks ago.

  16. To take better care of myself I drink a ton of water, exercise, use sunscreen and try to keep my sweet tooth under control ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. I have been riding bike more this summer. Still not as much as I should but I am trying.
