This past Monday, Sophie and I got the chance to go to a local fruit farm with some of our other mommy & kiddo friends. We looked at animals, pet some Shetland ponies, had a hayride, picked a pumpkin, and went down a giant slide! It was a great time. Joshua had to miss it because he was at school, and he is green with envy looking at the pictures! I hope you enjoy them slightly more. 🙂
They had a wooden play set that was in the shape of a train. Here’s Sophie driving the train!
Cortney’s little guy Evan and his cousin Kaiden gave each other some high-fives on the hayride:
On our hayride out to the pumpkin patch, we saw a rainbow in the sky! How cool is that? God is cool!
I caught this little face on the hayride, too! He was so precious.
Once we got out to the pumpkin patch, all Sophie wanted to do was RUN!
I finally managed to force her to pick a couple of pumpkins, and then we got back on the hay wagon for the ride back. We saw some great farm scenery like this beautiful old silo:
After the hay ride, Sophie and her pals Jack and Koen went straight for the big slide in the hay:
She and the boys slid down it again and again and again!
We had a great time! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
