Gilt Children’s Summer Spectacular: $10 off a $50 Purchase

As I may have mentioned, *ahem*, the thought of having three kids home this summer was pretty daunting.  So I’ve been doing my best to keep us all busy and having fun!  And now I’ve got another great source for summer ideas, because I am participating in Gilt Children’s Summer Spectacular – I am a Gilty Mom!  For four weeks this summer, you can go to Gilt Children’s Facebook page to get great summer fun tips from some of your favorite mom bloggers. (Some of my favorite summer celebrations involve family and sidewalk chalk! How about you??)  You can also, of course, get updates on the latest and greatest sales going on at Gilt Children, where you can become a member for free and get great member-only prices on luxury kids clothes and toys, and gorgeous kids’ decor items, too!   I’ve totally got my eye on this Trunki tote from Melissa & Doug:

And look at this adorable lady bug suitcase!

Right now, you can also get $10 off a $50 purchase at Gilt Children by shopping through this link.  This is an exclusive for Mommin’ It Up readers!

So head on over to Gilt Children’s Facebook page for tips on how to celebrate summer with your kiddos and then shop their site to find some great stuff to help you do so!  The $10 off of $50 promotion ends July 18th!

What do you do to make summer spectacular with your kiddos?

Revlon Tools money-maker at Rite Aid!

Oh my gosh! I am actually posting about my shopping trip! MIRACLE!  I REALLY miss posting about my shopping trips, but sadly it’s one of the things I’ve had to give up since having baby #3. I am TRYING to get back to it, though.  I am still coupon shopping every week, I just haven’t been able to post about my sweet deals.  However, today I decided I was going to give myself the gift of posting about this no matter what.  So, here goes.

There is an awesome money-maker deal at Rite Aid on Revlon beauty tools. If you buy 2, you get $4 +UP Rewards!  No matter how much the tools cost!  I bought a set of emery boards and some nail clippers. They were priced at $1.25 and $1.45 but rang up and 75 and 87 cents.  And I got the $4 +UP!  No coupons needed! WOW!  If I haven’t had the baby with me, I would have gone back and gotten more.  Not sure what the limit is on this deal.

Here’s what I got today:

Crest toothpaste $2.99

Oral B toothbrush $2.99

Fusion ProGlide power razor $9.99

Rite Aid allergy meds for kids (generic Zyrtec) $8.99

Revlon emery boards $.75

Revlon nail clippers $.87

total = $26.58

coupons

-$3/$15 Rite Aid coupon I got for taking a survey (look for this offer on the bottom of your Rite Aid receipt)

-$1.50 Crest toothpaste today’s P&G

-$1.50 Oral B toothbrush today’s P&G

-$4 Fusion today’s P&G

-$14 +UP Rewards from last week

=$2.58 + $1.65 tax = $4.23

and I got back $13 +UP Rewards!!! 4 for the Revlon tools, 5 for the Fusion razor, and 2 each for the Crest and Oral B.

WOOT!  Hoping to go back and get some more Revlon tools maybe tomorrow.

What did YOU get at Rite Aid this week??
