Scoring at the Meijer 10 for 10 sale!

Yesterday I ventured out to Meijer for some great deals, including the 10 for 10 and get the 11th free sale!  I did two transactions and here’s what I got:

Here are some deals I thought were especially good:

Kraft cheese cubes: $1.67 – I bought 5 and used the $5/5 Kraft printable = 67 cents each (I bought these because it was my week to bring snack for Sophie’s preschool class!)

Land o’ Lakes tubs: $1 and I used the 50-cent off printable coupon on RedPlum.com to get ’em free! (Meijer will double up to two of the same coupon.)

Aunt Millie’s bread: $1 and I used the 55-cent off coupon from a recent insert to get it free!

Kraft singles + Ritz: This was a catalina deal I wanted to get.  The singles were $2.50 each and I had a $1/2 coupon.  The crackers were regular price – $2.98, but I had two $1/2 coupons from coupons.com, and these items qualified for a catalina deal of buy $15, get $5 back.  So I paid about $17, $14 after coupons, and got back the $5 catalina. Not the BEST price, but I needed the crackers for snack at Sophie’s school as well, and it worked out to a pretty decent deal.

Other items on the buy $10, get the 11th free that I bought:

Barilla Pasta (had $1/2 coupon), Meijer pasta sauce, Grands biscuits (30 cents off two coupon on coupons.com that will double on these!  There was supposed to be a catalina deal as well, but it did not print for me. 🙁 ), Goldfish crackers, and Buddig lunch meat.

Between my two transactions I spent about $36 for all this!  I was pretty pleased to get so many freebies and the snacks for Sophie’s class as well as the rest of what we needed.

I got all my coupon match-ups from Andrea’s post at Savings Lifestyle. So check it out for where to find these coupons I used!

Did you get any freebies at Meijer this week?

CVS – a $5/$15 at the coupon scanner!

I headed into CVS today to do two transactions to keep my out-of-pocket low and I got a NICE surprise at the coupon scanner!!  It printed me a $5/$15 purchase coupon!  I was thrilled because I was also walking in with zero ECBs, having blown mine from last week on some batteries.  So I wanted to make some ECBs before doing my 2nd transaction.  Here’s how everything worked out:

DSC02289

AZO itch relief $6.99
Paint brushes $2.99 (for my kiddos)
Two Colgate Total $5.98
total= $15.96

coupons:
-$5/$15 CVS from coupon scanner
-$2 AZO printable
-$1 Colgate from today’s inserts
-$.75 Colgate printable
= $7.21 + .77 cents tax = $7.98
and I got back $5.98 ECB for the toothpaste and $5 for the AZO for a $3 profit 🙂

So then I did this:
DSC02290

Charmin $9.99
Downy $5.97
Tide $10.97
Diet Dr. Pepper $4.50 (I thought it was on sale 3/$11 or I wouldn’t have bought it – oh well.)
total= $31.43

coupons:

-$5/$30 CVS email coupon

-$1 Charmin (got in the package of Duracell I bought last week!)

-$1 Tide from last P&G insert

-$5.97 Downy – free coupon I got with a sample 🙂

-$10.98 ECB

total= $7.48 + $1.86 tax = $9.34

and I got back $10 ECB for purchasing $25 in P&G products!  (actually it was $24.75, thankfully CVS was being kind on that one so I didn’t have to buy another P&G item!)

Not bad for a girl who walked into CVS with no ECBs today!  What are YOU getting at CVS this week??

Major Freebates at Rite Aid!

The whole back page of the Rite Aid ad is FREE after Single Check Rebate this week. It’s totally crazy!  I wanted to do transactions but I had my little Sophie with me, and had already done two transactions at CVS (which I will show off in another post) so I will have to go back and hope they still have some other things in stock.  I have to go back anyways because as you will see, one of my items rang up wrong and I need to get a teeny refund.  Here’s what I got!

DSC02288

Two Playtex tampons, $8

Neil Med Nasal Rinse $9.99 (free after Single Check Rebate!)

Pedia Care $6.29 (Should have rang up at $4.99, free after Single Check Rebate!)

Sucrets $2.99 (free after Single Check Rebate!)

Total = $27.27

coupons:

-$5/$25 Rite Aid printable

-$4 two $2 off Playtex printables

– $2 Neil Med Nasal rinse printable

-$2 Playtex Rite Aid Video Values printable

– $6.69 +UP Rewards

total = $7.58 + $1.56 tax = $9.14 cash and I got back 2 +UP Rewards for the Playtex, will get $4.99 SCR for the PediaCare, $9.99 for the Neil Med, and $2.99 for the Sucrets.  So that’s a profit of over $11, even more when I get back my $1.30 I was overcharged for the PediaCare!! Yay! I love FREEBATES!  Please note with the Single Check Rebate program, you have to sign up for an account here and submit your receipts online, then you can request your check be mailed to you.

I hope I can get back to Rite Aid to get some more of the Freebates!!  Shannon at For the Mommas has some great scenarios for these. What did YOU get??
