I like sugary soda pop and cheap paper products

CVS has some great sales this week and a couple of things were even – GASP!- things I really NEEDED!  Actually, I headed out Saturday night in hopes of getting some Listerine Kids’ rinse that was on sale that week, but it was all gone.  Happily, however, I got some great coupons at the coupon scanner and decided to get a jump on the Pepsi Products deal that started Sunday (my store starts Sunday’s sales on Saturday for some reason.)  Here’s what I got:

DSC02317

1 Tums $3.99 (Wintergreen = the bomb also, hubby’s fave)

1 Benefiber $6.99

6 Pepsi product 12 packs (including LIME Crush! they only had one 12 pack so I snagged it!) $20

total = $30.98

coupons:

-$5/30 CVS email coupon

-$3 any Benefiber CVS coupon from coupon scanner

-$2 off Tums 60 count or higher CVS coupon from coupon scanner

-$16 ECBs from previous transactions

=$3.98 +$1.30 tax = $5.28 and I got back 11 ECB, 10 for the pop and 1 for the Tums! 🙂 YAAAAAAAAAAAY.  Now I am stocked up on sugary yummy soda pop (and some diet for the hubs).

Today, I went back to CVS because I decided I wanted to go for the Cottonelle deal, buy $25, get 10 ECB.  Ever since Sophie has been potty trained we go thru the moist wipes like craaazy. Although I can’t totally blame the Soph because I know a certain 1st grader who has a little poop anxiety that also contributes to this problem. *Ahem*  So, here’s how I did that deal.

DSC02319

18 pack Cottonelle TP $10

1 Cottonelle moist wipes tub $2

5 Cottonelle moist wipes refills $2 each, $10

3-pack Kleenex $3

total = $25

Coupons:

– 50 cents Cottonelle TP printable

-50 cents Kleenex printable

-$3 three $1/2 Cottonelle wipes printables

– $13.99 ECB from previous transactions

=$7.01 + $1.75 tax = $8.76 and I got back 10 ECB 🙂

That’s how I like to buy my flushables!

What deals are YOU planning to get at CVS this week?  Or did you already go get ’em??

Diapers and Headache Medicine make me smile!

CVS $2.30 got back 11 ECB

I had many reasons to head to CVS this week!

1) CVS mailed me a $3 off Huggies CVS coupon that can be stacked w/ a manufacturer coupon AGES ago and I’ve been waiting for a sale to use it!

2) CVS emailed me a $5/$25 coupon this week!!

3) There is a sweet Excedrin deal and I had a coupon for a free bottle

4) Quarterly extra bucks are printing!  You can print them by scanning your card at the coupon scanner on your way in!

Ok, so here’s what I got:

Huggies Jumbo pack $8.99

Two Excedrin express gels $5.49 each = $10.98

Two regular Excedrin $4.79 each = $9.58

total = $29.55

coupons:

-$5/$25 CVS email coupon

-$3 CVS Huggies coupon

-$2.50 Huggies printable coupon

-$5.49 FREE bottle of Excedrin coupon

-$3 three $1 off Excedrin extra strength printables

-$9.98 ECB

total = 58 cents plus $1.72 tax = $2.30 and I got back 11 ECB, 10 for the Excedrin and 1 for the Huggies.  HOLLA!

If only I weren’t nursing, I could take that Excedrin!  It’s my fave for headaches. But for now I’ll pass it on to my Dad and my BFF because it’s their fave as well.  And the diapers we’ll keep for when Baby Jonah’s buns get bigger. 🙂

I might go back this week to get some Listerine Kids rinse, but I’ll have to try another store because mine didn’t have the flavor that my kids like, I mean tolerate.

What are YOU getting??

Sunday Rite Aid Run

Today I hit Rite Aid because, well, I have an addiction. 🙂 No, the REAL reason was because they had my favorite Lansinoh nursing pads on sale BOGO free and I wanted to stock up. AND, I liked the deal on the Huggies big box of diapers.  Baby Jonah has tons of diapers due to my mad stockpiling skills, so I’ve been buying sizes 3 and 4 for him because he has enough of the small sizes.  Here’s what I got!

Rite Aid $11 got back $4

Huggies big box $17.99 (with my wellness + discount, the sale is for $19.99)

Two Lansinoh nursing pads $9.99 (BOGO)

Two Wet ones $1.99 each = $3.98

total =$31.96

coupons:

-$10 Rite Aid gift of savings certificate from December promotion

-$2 Huggies Rite Aid video values coupon

-$2.50 Huggies printable coupon

– $1 any non-prescription item Rite Aid video values coupon

-$1 any non-prescription item Rite Aid video values coupon (there are two different ones)

-$2 two $1 Wet Ones printable coupons

-$3 +UP Rewards

total =$10.46 + $1.26 tax = $11.72 and I got back 4 +UP Rewards, 1 each for the Wet Ones and 2 for the Huggies. 🙂  Not bad since my total was about the cost of ONE box of nursing pads and I got all of that!

What are YOU getting this week??
