I am feeling very guilty this week. I was very unfaithful to CVS! As a matter of fact, I hardly went to CVS at all! The deals weren’t all that compelling. But I did hit up Walgreens last Saturday to get a couple of last-minute deals. Then I ran to CVS right after cause I felt so guilty. Oh, the shame! Anyways, here’s what I got.

2 John Frieda hairspray BOGO 50% off $9.70 (total)
1 Glade Scented Oil plug-ins BOGO Free $4.79
total = $14.49

$4 off Glade Scented Oil (they wouldn’t take my BOGO coupons BOO WALGREENS!!)
total = $7.49
With tax I paid $8.54 and I got back a NINE DOLLAR register reward for the John Frieda and will get $2.20 rebate for the Glade! oot! Thanks Walgreens! The beauty of this is that you were supposed to be three Frieda products to get the $9 RR, but for some reason, the way Walgreens registers are set up, they think you are buying three when there is a BOGO %50 off sale. I’ll take it!

Next I did this, still at Walgreens:

Total = $7.47. With tax it was $8.40. I used $5.34 on a rebate gift card from last month and paid $3.06 cash. I will get back $8.80 rebate for the Chemistry hair care and I got a $2 Register Reward for the Huggies! So I made a good profit on that! Yay!

Finally, on to my measly CVS transaction. (Sorry CVS, you know I love you, but you can do better this week!)

I paid with 7.99 ECB and 49 cents cash and got back 4 ECB for the toothpaste and 5.99 ECB for the Cover Girl! Woohoo! I needed the cups for our Labor Day cookout so I was pleased to get all that for a small profit!

I didn’t do too much CVSing for myself this week, but still had fun getting the deals that were to be had. Here’s what I got!

2 Crest toothpaste $6.58 (I thought I was buying the ones on sale for $1.99 but I was WRONG! The store didn’t have signs on the ECB items, so it was hard to tell which were correct. Oh well!)
CVS jumbo pack diapers clearanced to 95 CENTS!!
Five Burt’s Bees chapsticks clearanced to 33 cents each!!!

Total = $37.62

I paid with 5.79 ECB and a 4 ECB adjusted down and paid $1.15 tax on my CVS gift card I got with a new prescription for Joshua’s eye incident and got back 5 ECB (for buying the monitor plus the Colgate!) Would have been 7 ECB if I’d bought the right toothpaste. BUT OH WELL! I was pretty happy with that haul! I loooove Burt’s Bees!!

Finally, my favorite transaction. I think we all know I have a *little* addiction problem issue with Mountain Dew. Well, CVS’ great sale and the fact that there was a competitor’s coupon made this MY WEEK!!

And that is all I have to wow you with my friends. Walgreens $5/$20 coupon that came out Friday was too late for me to use BUT I did get to use it when I did my BFF Luanne’s CVSing for her so that was fun too.
