I’ve Got the Soy Joy, Soy Joy, Up in My Pantry! (Where?)

Sorry I am late in posting my deals. I know you all sit by your computers and hit “refresh” on your browsers all weekend long until I post them so I’m really sorry for the delay. But you see I had this baby shower for my friend Megan Saturday which just kept me away from my laptop. But it is over, and it was great, and now you can all heave a sigh of relief as my coupon adventures are about to be displayed for all the world. 🙂

I got a TON of Soy Joys this week! My little Sophie, the world’s pickiest eater, loves Soy Joys for some reason. So I got 10 for $5 at Rite Aid, used my $3/10 coupon, paid $2 out-of-pocket, and will get back a $5 single check rebate. So I made $3 on that! Woohoo! CVS also has 6-packs of Soy Joys for $6 with 6 ECBs back. So, the other night I got this:

free baby wipes & soy joy

2 boxes of Soy Joy $12
2 CVS baby wipes $4.50 (they were B1G1 50% off)
M&Ms 50 cents
Total = $17
Coupons:
CVS $3/$15
Soy Joy $3/10
$3 off CVS Brand purchase
total= $8
I paid with a 7.99 ECB – I can’t remember how much I paid in cash – less than a dollar – and got back 12 ECB for the Soy Joy! Yay! I loves me some profit!

Next, I got this:
made 3 bucks here WOOT

4 infants/children’s motrin $22
CVS baby wipes $2.99
Total = $24.99
Coupons:
CVS $3/$15
$2/$10 pain reliever purchase CVS CRT
two $2.50/2 Children’s/infants motrin
three $2 off Children’s/infants motrin Walgreens coupons (I had 4 but the cashier missed one. no biggie)
$3 off CVS Brand purchase
Total = 5.99
I used a 5.99 ECB to pay, paid $1.30 cash in tax and got back 10 ECB for the Motrin! Woohoo!

Finally, I stopped back by one day for some Fiber One bars (YUMMY!) and more Soy Joy:

paid zero for this :)

Fiber one two-pack $6.99
Soy Joy 6-pack $6
CVS wipes $2.99
Sweet Tarts $.50
Total = $16.48
Coupons:
CVS $3/$15
$1/5 Soy Joy coupon
50 cents off Fiber One coupon
$3 off CVS Brand purchase coupon
total = $8.98
I paid with an 8.98 ECB, paid zero out-of pocket and got back 9 ECB. Ta-da!!

Needless to say, Megan got a lot of baby wipes with her shower gift. 🙂

That’s all for me this week! Hope you did great! To see what everyone else was up to, check out CVS Superstars at the Centsible Sawyer!

Super Savings Slacker!

Oh friends of the blogosphere, I did not do too much couponing this week! I did go to CVS this week, but alas, I have hidden my bag o’ goodies from myself so I can’t take a picture!! This Momnesia is really killing me!! But I will tell you that my transaction resulted in me paying 77 cents for 2 Dove lotions, a Fusion razor and a Venus Embrace razor. YAY! And I got to use the Walgreens $5/$25 coupon at CVS since mine takes competitor coupons. And I got overage on the Dove with coupons and a CRT. It was all very exciting. I just wish I had a pic to show you!

Speaking of Walgreens, I did go there to get some Christmas presents since they had a spend $25, get $5 register reward promo going on, and I still had some $$ left on my Walgreens rebate gift card. So here is what I got!

buying Christmas presents at Walgreens

The Little Einsteins bingo, magnetic drawing board, and Littlest Pet Shop were 3/$13.98
The pig webkinz (Merry Christmas Kate!) was $6.99
Colgate $2.99
Kleenex 89 cents each with Wags coupon
I had $8.55 on my gift card and a $1 off q for the toothpaste. My total was $17.99 after those and I got a $5 Register Reward for spending $25 and a $2 RR for the Colgate so my net total was $10.99 for all that, including 4 Christmas presents for some of the kids in my life! YAY!

That’s all I did this week. Hopefully next week CVS will have some more EXCITING sales and I can get my groove on again! To see how everyone else did, check out CVS Superstars at The Centsible Sawyer and Super Savings Saturday at Money Saving Mom.

Jenny and CVS: A Love Story

This coming week marks my one year anniversary of CVSing! Last year it was the week between Sophie’s birthday and Thanksgiving when I first darkened the door of a CVS and signed up for an ExtraCare card and began gettin’ my coupon on. It wasn’t long before I was hooked…now me and CVS are soulmates! Oh…the memories!! Sniff, sniff! Seriously, couponing has changed my life and I consider it and CVS a real gift from God. More on that in a later post, but for now I’ll just show you what I got this week.

made 9 bucks at CVS on this! oot!

I had to hoof it in on Sunday to get the two-day sale items before they ran out! Here’s what I got!
SmartWater $1.59
Listerine Kids rinse $3.99
Loreal Revitalift $11.99
St. Ives Body Wash $3.99
Total = 21.56
Coupons I used: CVS $4/$20
CVS $1 off Listerine 500ml or larger q (from Diabetes book)
$1 Listerine manu q
$2 off St. Ives manu q
$2 off Walgreens Loreal q
$1 off Loreal manu q (from Kmart beauty book)
Total = 10.56
I paid with 10 ECB and some change (I can’t find my receipt once again! Slacker!) and got back 19.58 ECB! Oot! That’s making money!

Later I went back to get some of my favorite beverage, Mountain Dew. I am soo classy, I know. I also got some of that Sierra Mist Free Cranberry cause that stuff is GOOD and it won’t make ya fat like Mountain Dew will! We needed a few other things, too.

CVS rules

Three Pepsi products $10
Listerine Kids Rinse $3.99
Bleach $2.29
Garnier Fructis hair spray $2.99
Milk $2.99
Total = $22.26
Coupons: CVS $4/$20
$1 CVS Listerine q
$1 Listerine manu q
$1 Garnier manu q
$3 catalina from Meijer (my CVS will accept as a competitor coupon)
Total = 12.26
I paid with my 11.99 ECB from the Loreal Revitalift and paid 43 cents in cash and got back 7 ECB. Not too shabby!!!

Next, I hit the Kroger Mega-Sale once again. Lucky for me, my beloved Glade Scented Oil Candle refills were part of the Mega-Sale AND on a catalina deal this week. YESS! So first I bought 10 Glade products, and with coupons and the $5 off for the Mega-event, paid $9.75 for 4 Glade jar candles and 6 GSOC refill packs. I got back a $4 Catalina to use on my next order! Here is a total of ALL the groceries I bought that night:

Kroger! $125 worth for $55

Both transactions combined came up to over $125 before coupons and promotions. After coupons & the promo, I paid $59.18 and got back another $4 coupon to use on my next order. 🙂 This is over budget for me but not really because we budgeted extra to get goodies for Sophie’s birthday party – so I came out under when all was said & done. YAY! Please don’t be too concerned about the amount of Glade refills – I SWEAR I am giving some away as gifts with the candle holders. 🙂

Well that is IT for me this week! I gotta go decorate a birthday cake now! Yikes, for more great couponing adventures, check out Money Saving Mom and The Centsible Sawyer.
