Kroger is having a mega, mega, mega-sale this week so I am joining in the fun at Money Saving Mom and showing you all how I worked it! I got all this, which rang up to $46.17:
for $14.77!!!
Kroger’s Mega-Sale is a promotion where if you buy 10 of certain items, you get $5 off your order. You could do this up to 3 times per order. I had coupons for the Welch’s juice, Hot Pockets Calzones, Betty Crocker potatoes, Hormel Chili, and Lipton side dishes. Everything I bought was part of the promotion except the bananas and canned fruit. After the promotion, my total went down to $31.17, and after coupons, $14.77. I was GIDDY when I left the store!!
So get to Kroger and work that Mega-Sale!! To see how others worked it, check out Money Saving Mom’s Kroger Mega-Sale carnival here.
totally jealous!!! all of our Dillon’s (Kroger) closed in Kansas City… I miss them already… today was their last day!
I did the Kroger thing this morning; I wasn’t overly impressed. I wanted to use coupons, but a number of my coupons that I thought I could use were for slightly different products (such as Pillsbury Crescent rolls; the product included in the deal was the little 4-roll tube.) I did find 10 products to buy, but only 10. I spent $4.17.
And thanks for visiting my blog!
You are just too dang funny! LMAO!
