I just returned from a fabulous, bargain-filled, coupon-high-inducing grocery trip! And you know what made it even better? My BFF Luanne was with me doing her grocery shopping too! This was the second time we’ve done this and we have decided we need to do it as often as possible. It is sooo fun to take a buddy shopping with you! We got in much-needed girl time, shared our coupons, and made gagging noises at the young couple that was practically making out in every aisle we wanted to be in. Shopping with a girlfriend is truly the way to go! So get your best pal and your coupons together and get that shopping trip out of the way. After all, you need someone to giggle like an idiot with you when you get when you get 12 free boxes of cereal!! Otherwise people might look at you funny!

Whenever I can go shopping with a friend it seems to go that much faster. Great tip!
Probably better than shopping with dh. Because that usually ends up costing me MORE money and taking TWICE as long.

I acutally did this WITH MY HUSBAND last week. Truth be told… I made him come along since I knew I’d be filling up at least two carts and needed him to help push the full one around.
Oh, and he helped hold my coupons I was going to use that day. I saved OVER $100 IN COUPONS!
And we got to ditch the kiddos in the grocery store play area.
What a poor excuse for a date.
i just got back from the grocery(it is 2 am) and i got some organic milk 1/2 price…. and some how i spent $40 and some change. i saved over $20 with coupons and store deals….. late at night there are a bunch of stuff reduced. i got some cookies and cinnamon rolls and bread all reduced.@ kroger. i went to meijer first and they had 1 cashier and a big line and no one at the self check out to take my coupons so i left my cart grabbed my buy one get one free chicken and went to the self check out and left….. i was mad and so i went to kroger and did much better there…… funnnnnnnn.. i wonder why i have sleeping issues….i am waiting for the new cvs ad to come out b/c there is not much left to buy when you’ve been there7 times this week and it is only wed, i’m babbling sorry
Thanks for the idea! I usually just take my kids with me and have them buddy up and go after things down the next aisle while I am getting things in one aisle. I know it isn’t the same! LOL
