Recently the folks at Exederm sent me several items from their baby skin care line to try out on baby Jonah. I decided to review them on this here blog because I really love them! All their products are fragrance free and dye free, perfect for babies and anyone with sensitive skin. As a matter of fact, I’ve been using them not just on Jonah but on Sophie as well. Sophie does have eczema break-outs once in awhile on the insides of her arms. She had one the other day and I put Exederm’s flare control cream on it and it was completely healed up over night!
I love using the fragrance free baby bath, shampoo, baby oil, and intensive moisturizer on Jonah as well. The baby oil was so helpful getting all the newborn dry skin off of Jonah’s little baby head, and it keeps him nice and moisturized after his baths. The intensive moisturizer is also great for my hands since I am constantly washing them and they get rather flaky.
If you or your kiddos have sensitive skin or are prone to eczema, I highly recommend exederm! You can get their products on Amazon.
If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, you know that I loooove Palmer’s skin care products. So whenever they offer me anything to review, I say “yes yes yes” even if it’s a $5 bottle of body wash. Because I always love whatever they send me and this Cocoa Butter Formula moisturize body wash was no exception. Usually as soon as I jump out of the shower, I slather on my favorite Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil, because my skin is a thirsty, thirsty organ. BUT, since I have a little tiny baby who likes to cry and cry and cry every time I DARE to get clean, I haven’t been so great with my after-shower moisturizing lately. Fortunately, my skin hasn’t suffered too much because the Palmer’s body wash is soooo moisturizing! I love it, and it is saving my skin recently.
It retails for only $4.99 and you can get it just about anywhere! So go getcha some and enjoy the softness.
Yesterday Joshua’s first grade teacher sent home a wonderful gift in his backpack: his first semester journal. She has been giving the students topics to write about and it was SO fun for Bobby and me to go through and read what our little guy has written. I’ve never gotten to get inside of his mind like this and it was a real treat. It was also pretty stinkin’ hilarious! Bobby and I laughed until we cried over some of his entries. Here are a few of my favorites. I am leaving the spelling as he wrote it but I will translate in parentheses if necessary.
