Major Freebates at Rite Aid!

The whole back page of the Rite Aid ad is FREE after Single Check Rebate this week. It’s totally crazy!  I wanted to do transactions but I had my little Sophie with me, and had already done two transactions at CVS (which I will show off in another post) so I will have to go back and hope they still have some other things in stock.  I have to go back anyways because as you will see, one of my items rang up wrong and I need to get a teeny refund.  Here’s what I got!

Two Playtex tampons, $8

Neil Med Nasal Rinse $9.99 (free after Single Check Rebate!)

Pedia Care $6.29 (Should have rang up at $4.99, free after Single Check Rebate!)

Sucrets $2.99 (free after Single Check Rebate!)

Total = $27.27

coupons:

-$5/$25 Rite Aid printable

-$4 two $2 off Playtex printables

– $2 Neil Med Nasal rinse printable

-$2 Playtex Rite Aid Video Values printable

– $6.69 +UP Rewards

total = $7.58 + $1.56 tax = $9.14 cash and I got back 2 +UP Rewards for the Playtex, will get $4.99 SCR for the PediaCare, $9.99 for the Neil Med, and $2.99 for the Sucrets.  So that’s a profit of over $11, even more when I get back my $1.30 I was overcharged for the PediaCare!! Yay! I love FREEBATES!  Please note with the Single Check Rebate program, you have to sign up for an account here and submit your receipts online, then you can request your check be mailed to you.

I hope I can get back to Rite Aid to get some more of the Freebates!!  Shannon at For the Mommas has some great scenarios for these. What did YOU get??

Kroger-iffic!

I was super-pumped to see that Kroger was having a buy 10 items, get $5 off event this week.  And I hear it will be continuing next week too! Yippee!  There were some items incuded in the sale that we use all.the.time. that I wanted to get, like Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters for Joshua’s school lunches!   Here’s what I got for just $26.43!

The items I got included in the Mega Savings Event were the Capri Suns (78 cents after sale and coupon!), the Nabisco cookies snack packs (free w/sale and coupon!), the Kraft Mac & Cheese cups (free w/ sale & Kroger eCoupon!), the Philly Cream Cheese (free w/sale and coupon!!), and the Kellogg’s fruit snacks (40 cents after sale and coupon!), and the Coke 2-liter.

**One note: I had three $1/2 Capri Sun coupons, ALL THREE were sent to me by Kroger in Kroger mailers!  So if you haven’t already, go to Kroger.com to register your Kroger Plus Card – create and account so you can start getting these great coupons in the mail too!

I saved 60% – my bill was almost $60 before the Mega-Event savings and coupons came off my order. Of COURSE, I got all my coupon match-ups for this sale from my dear friend Andrea at Savings Lifestyle, so check out her Kroger posts so you can get your shop on!

What did YOU get this week??

I Heart Swagbucks!

If you’ve been reading blogs for awhile you’ve probably heard about Swagbucks.  But what IS it (or what are THEY?)  Swagbucks are points you earn for using Swagbucks.com to search the interwebz in place of your usual search engines.  Then, you can redeem said points for prizes!  I love Swagbucks because you can redeem them for Amazon gift cards.  I just got Sophie a play-doh set and three sets of flashcards for $5.09 shipped because I had $20 in Amazon gift cards that I earned through Swagbucks. WOOT!  And all I did was search the internetz like usual, and every once in awhile read the Swagbucks blog to see if they have posted any free codes, which they often do.

Fridays (that’s TODAY!) are Mega-Swagbucks days every week, when you can win Swagbucks in even larger quantities than usual just by signing up.  So head on over to Swagbucks.com to sign up and start earning!  And let me know if you have any swag questions!
