Easy-to-Design Baby Gifts at Makaboo!

A few weeks ago folks at Makaboo invited me to pick out and personalize a blanket for mysoon-to-be-born baby boy, Jonah.  I was excited because I looooove personalized stuff!  They assured me that the process of going to their website and picking out a design and monogram was easy, and I set out to find out for myself.

It was! SO easy, and very fast.  It only took me about five minutes and that is because I changed my mind a couple of times about what design I wanted!  In the end, I went with the green and blue Swaddle Designs blanket with a sailboat design and “Jonah” on it.  Since his daddy does race sailboats and all.

My blanket arrived really quickly, and it is SO adorable!  I can’t wait to have a baby to go with it!

You can make lots of other baby gifts at Makaboo – lovies, hoodies, bibs, burp cloths, bibs, pillows, hats – just about anything you want personalized for a little one!  The selection is great!

Do you have a baby gift to give?  Use the coupon code MIU10 from now until October 31st, and Mommin’ It Up readers will get 10% off their purchase!   I highly suggest you take advantage of this offer to get something special for the newest little one in your life.

Thanks, Makaboo! I love Jonah’s blanket and I know he will too!

DSC02254

To update you on the Rite Aid Huggies/Pull-Ups deal I posted in the post below, the +UP Rewards printed for ALL THREE packs I bought. So the limit is at least three which makes this deal a freebie after +UP Rewards and Single Check Rebates!!

Here’s how I worked it:

2 packs Pull-Ups $8.99 each = $17.98

1 packs Huggies Little Snugglers $8.99

Milk $2.60

total = $$29.57

coupons used:

– $5/$25 Rite Aid printable

– $6 Two $3 off Pull-Ups printables from Pull-Ups email (these are no longer available)

-$2.50 Huggies Little Movers printable

total = $16.07

I paid with 16 +UP Rewards  had from last week and paid 7 cents plus $1.27 tax for a GRAND TOTAL of $1.34.  AND I got back 6 +UP Rewards (2 for each pack of Huggies/Pull-Ups) and will get back a $10 Rite Aid gift card from the Kimberly-Clark Single Check Rebate.  WHOOHOOOO!!

I didn’t even use my $1 off Rite Aid Huggies Video Values coupon because then I would have had to buy a filler and I was in a hurry.  So, I might try my luck and get another pack of diapers later this week.

YAY!!! Did any of you do this deal? How did it work out for you? Don’t forget to see this post for all the printable coupon links!
