Win it: Pyrex Supper Savers!

Pyrex recently came to me asking if I would like to review some of their new cookings tools, the “Supper Saver” collection. I wasn’t sure, because when I cleaned out my kitchen in preparation for my Granite Transformations makeover, I had thrown out, donated, or given away lots of kitchen tools I didn’t use or need anymore. Did I really want to make room for more?

Then I took one look at the Supper Savers collection and decided “yes”! These tools were just too cool and useful to pass up! Here’s what’s in the Supper Savers collection:

  • Three Pyrex no-leak lids baking & storage glassware – I love these! There are three different sizes that you can move easily from prep to oven to fridge – and then re-heat leftovers in as well!
  • Grocery list notepad (you know I never go to the store without a list!)
  • Reusable grocery bag
  • Pinch bowls – these tiny, flexible bowls are great for holding small amounts of ingredients as you prep.  I used one to mix up just the perfect tiny amount of garlic butter for my family’s bread the other night!
  • Mezzaluna – a super-cool cutting tool with protective cover
  • Fine grater with 1/2 cup container so you can measure while you grate (happy to have this since I just bought all that block cheese at Meijer!)
  • Small spatula – great for mixing and cooking on the stove as it’s heat resistant up to 500 degrees!
  • Basting Brush w/silicone bristles – so easy to clean!!

These great tools help you make a great meal and re-invent leftovers, too!  I’ve really enjoyed using mine in the new kitchen.  I had two meals to prepare for friends who needed one due to illness/injury this week and the Pyrex Supper Savers tools were a big help!

  6. I love how I don’t have to worry about BPA with the Pyrex Supper Savers. I love that you can reheat and not worry about plastics 🙂

  7. I love Pyrex, My Mom in law brought a Pyrex dish with a snap on lid over with food in it a while back. I loved it and had to “borrow” it for a while. Just returned it and am missing it.

  12. I know this will sound silly, but I am so excited about the silicone basting brush, I have been saying for sooooo long I was going to buy one and it has not happened yet. All of the rest would be such a huge bonus!!!

  25. I like the storage containers the best. These would be something I could use immediately and throw out all the random lids and cracked plastic dishes and a huge jumbled mess of a drawer in my kitchen!!

  27. I love my pyrex baking/storage glassware that I currently have…one of the few things that is still around of my husband’s “pre-marriage” stuff! I think the fine grater sounds pretty cool in this set, though!

  30. The pinch bowls sound so cool … my old roommate had a bunch of small dishes that I used as prep bowls and I’ve yet to get some of my own since moving out.
