Jenny’s how-to: Eye makeup that makes your eyes pop!

Hello lovelies.  It’s been awhile since I’ve done any makeup tips and I kind of miss doing it.   I had a lot of fun experimenting with my eye makeup on my recent trips to Mom 2.0 Summit and the Toyota Women event, so I decided to do a video on my three favorite tried-and-true tips for having eye makeup that really makes your eyes pop.  I have small eyes that kind of disappear when I smile, so I use a lot of eye makeup to open them up.  And here’s how…hope you enjoy!  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think! And enjoy me looking dumb as I try using my webcam as a mirror.  I hope to get better at that. 🙂

What do you think? Are those tips do-able for you? Leave me a comment and let me know!

  1. Totally doable! Great job!
Someone had told me about the heated eyelash curler before but I forgot all about it! I’m definitely getting one.

  2. Just thinking about the multiple things that can go wrong putting a heated stick near my eyeballs. If I end up in the ER, Im so blaming you!

    1. Loricita, it does not get THAT hot. It doesn’t even burn your finger if you touch it. If you end up in the ER with this one, you were TRYING to get hurt!

  3. Wonderful tips, Jenny. You have gorgeous eyes and, thanks to that closeup, I can see you have gorgeous skin, too!

For those who don’t have a heated eyelash curler, you can heat up a spoon with your blow dryer and hold the curved part against your lashes to accomplish the same effect. Assuming you have steady hands, of course. 😉

  4. Dude! Are you in my head or what? I was totally thinking about doing a post about my favorite MK products. I just got a new order in – I LOVE the foundation primer, shimmery shadows and their shimmery lip glosses. PS. Super eye tips, thx. I think I’ll avoid the heated lash curler for now, though. Um, hot stuff by my eyes = bad bananas.

  5. I love makeup but I have never heard of the heated eyelash curler. I guess I live under a rock. 😉 I think I need one of thoes! Great tips!

  6. Great tips, I heat my eyelash curcler with the hairdryer on LOW for five seconds and it has the same effect
