Baring My Face (and therefore my soul)

It’s BlissDom week! Emily and I are super-excited that on Thursday, we are jumping in Cortney’s truck and heading down to Nashville for BlissDom for the second year in a row. We expect to engage in all kinds of bloggy fun and even learn a few things! We have LOTS of fun an exciting stuff to announce this week to go along with our trip to BlissDom, but first, I am going to get semi-naked before you. EEEP! Ok, not that kind. I’m going to show you my face with very little makeup. Double EEEP!

My vanity has done me a favor in that Mary Kay has generously give Emily and me some makeup to wear to BlissDom so that we will look as FABULOUS as we ARE. Using my mad makeup skillz and Mary Kay product, I’ve done a tutorial on how to get a neutral makeup look. This is a great look for every day and any day! Hope you all enjoy, and try to remember what I look like at the END of the video, not at the beginning!

  1. I am such a complete idiot when it comes to makeup. I’m 28 years old and have never been taught. And it’s not like I don’t need it! I’m definitely going to be using your tips. But what do you use for concealer and base? Thanks!

    1. Hey Heather! I use Mary Kay concealer and mineral powder foundation. I love them both, they give great coverage and a little of both goes a long way so they both last a good while!

  2. Ok, since I won’t be at Blissdom, and you’re offering your Makeup services, could you maybe come to Texas and teach me some very awesome makeup tips? I could really use the help!!! 🙂

Or, you know, you could just package up all the items/colors that you just demonstrated and send’em to me, that would help!!!

  3. LOVE your make-up vlogs. You share so many great little tips. After the lip liner one a little while back, I think of you every time I put my lip liner on since I was filling in with it (only lining the lips). I notice a big difference.
