As of today, Jenny is reeeeeaaalllly ollllllldddd 31 years old!
In honor of this momentous occasion, I thought it would be fun for us to leave comments about our favorite “Jenny moments,” from one of her posts. I’ll compile them and make a Top 10 list with my favorites. Want yours to be on the list? Make it as embarrassing (for Jenny) as possible! That is surely the way to my heart the list.
I’ll start…. one of my favorite Jenny moments (and there are many) was when we learned that she only bends at the waist. That and the time that we drove all over southeastern Indiana spraypainting the road. But that is a story for another time.
Happy birthday Jen! You are a never-ending source of amusement 🙂
Happy Birthday my friend! I have way too many favorite Jenny moments – most of which are not on this blog, so I won’t bring them up. From the blog, I’d have to say her post about the vomit incident at a friend’s house cracked me up. Well the throwing poop one was pretty good too.
Going with the puke fest at O’Charleys. Classy.

Just so you know, I found it after searching under puke in categories. Seriously, you have a category called puke. ‘Nuf said.
Yeah unfortunately I was the one who puked at O’Charley’s.
Though Jenny does not remember, and is only aware through family history and lore…The fact that she peed on Aunt Vickie at our wedding rides high with me! There are just so many things I could say, but won’t!
Happy Birthday dear J-Rap…..Happy Birthday to you 🙂
Love ya Jenny. I will say, my favorite Jenny-ism would have to be the video proof of your CVS OCD……
Jenny used to live back near our church. I remember skipping GAs and going to her house to watch Clarissa Explains it All. NA NA NA NA NA…. NANANA NA NA NA.
Also, as teens Jenny got her license before I did (since she is so much OLDER THAN ME) so she would often come and pick me up to go somewhere. I should also mention that my grandma lived with us. I wasn’t quite ready to leave one day and poor Jenny got stuck talking to my grandma about cataract surgery. Jenny does a wicked awesome impression of my grandma and her cataract story!
My husband John has known Jenny since they were kids so I asked him for an embarrassing story about Jenny. The story was more embarrassing for him though. John was about 13 years old so Jenny would have been about 17. They were going door to door with another girl inviting people to come see the musical at their church. Apparently the whole time Jenny was talking about her menstural cycle which made it very uncomfortable/embarrassing for John. He said she also was saying how she switched to a different kind of underwear before her period would start which totally embarrssed him. So that’s John’s embarrassing story.
My story for Jenny was when she came over with her kids for a playdate and Joshua threw up all over my house and my dog. She was very embarrassed but it was super funny to me!!
Happy Birthday Jenny!!
That “other girl” from Andrea’s comment was LORI, who left the comment above Andrea’s. HA! It was not nice of us to torment a 13-year-old boy.
Just to make it clear, I DO NOT REMEMBER scarring John in such a way.
I’m sure it happened…
I just don’t remember that particular incident.
Did I mention that it took Jenny numerous times to pass her drivers license test?
And, there was the trash-talking, trivial pursuit cheater inducing shenanigans between her and my husband when the two of them first met.
And she used to be scared of the dark and wouldn’t play blinds man bluff with us at church when we were little… but insisted it was because she was being obedient rather than fearful.
And the craziness of when she used to “work” at the local radio station when we were in high school… but that was more fun than embarrassing.
I’ll keep adding more if they come to mind.
i was sorting through old photo albums the other week and came across a picture from junior high when we were in the same play together – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the Black Forest…. I just remember you were very sweet and demure, the perfect little Snow White =) me? I played the owl with chicken feet….life is SO not fair in junior high!!! Happy Birthday!
