Come to CVS with Me!

My friend, the very talented Dsto of Brothers Studios rode along with me to CVS the other day so that you all might get to experience the joy that is CVSing with me. 🙂 So, enjoy this video! I would like to say, just as a small disclaimer, that we were trying to keep the CVS folks from seeing the camera, which is why you can’t see my face during the checkout process. AND IT WORKED! They were never the wiser!

Make sure to stop by Brothers Studios video site for more great videos and leave them a comment on their blog!

For more awesome deals, (although they are probably not on video!) check out CVS Superstars at the “Cents”ible Sawyer, and Super Savings Saturday over at Money Saving Mom!

  1. That’s amazing!! I didn’t know you could use a Walgreen’s coupon at CVS. I must’ve missed that in your tutorials.

    P.S. You’re a doll!

  2. I got it out of an ad for a local market, but it was just a regular manufacturer’s coupon! so check those grocery store ads!

  3. Holy cow, you have crossed over into some really weird CVS nerd territory here. I mean I love CVS and all, but I am starting to be concerned for your mental health. Emily- is it time for an intervention? 🙂

  4. Ohhhh Jenny Jenny Jenny!!!! You are toooooo cute! You seriously make me want to become a CVS nerd too. Can I be your protege?

  5. Love it! I totally need to video tape my CVS shopping trips so I can show everyone how I have to arm wrestle the store manager to get her to let me use all my coupons 😉

  6. Ok, that was hysterical.
But do you know what I am MOST impressed with? I’m impressed that the whole time you were driving you did not take your eyes off the road. You were focused on safe driving, not on the video camera!

    Great job!!!

  7. Hilarious Jenny!

I get made fun of for taking pictures of my great deals (learned that from you and Money Saving Mom), and now a video!?! Too bad I don’t have a video camera. LOL!! I wish we were still Belmont buddies so we could shop together…sniff, sniff. I can’t wait to share the link with my fellow CVS’ers here in NY.

    Miss you girl!! XOXO Lindsay

  8. Humph….I still don’t get it….I feel like how I used to feel in Chemistry! Loving the oh-so-Dayton neighborhood drive-thru, I got totally homesick!

  9. You are the greatest! You don’t even understand how much I loved this, you did a great job. My new motto is “Keep it simple” & you certainly did that!

    Bring us more!

  10. I’m a CVSer too and it’s really kind of scary how much our lingo/planning/reactions and everything is alike. Wow. Loved watching that. Great job!

  11. Do you use WALGREENS coupons at CVS?

Are they from the store coupon booklet?

    Thank you very much

  12. I’m in Chicago right now… got $160 in regular price merchandise for…

    drumroll please….

$3.94. It would have been even cheaper if I were in Ohio where taxes are significantly less!

Thank you Jenny for taking me CVSsing! And, thanks for your coupon help!

I almost made the cashier cry with how many coupons I had. She was thoroughly overwhelmed.

Oh, and Sophie’s picture is on the snugli box here too… Lucy wanted to check for her when we went shopping last night.

  14. I know I was supposed to be paying attention to important-type stuff and learning things about saving money, but all I came away with was this…

COULD YOU BE ANY CUTER? NO! THE ANSWER IS NO!

  15. I think I salivated a little when you were checking out! 95 cents! Wow!

This is my first week of CVS shopping and I have been completely overwhelmed, confused, frustrated, etc. However, I think I’m starting to get it and just need to plan my trip a little better so that I maximize my savings and OOP expense!

    Thanks for the great video!

  16. We need to hear more abut this use of Walgreens coupon.

Are you in with the manager?

Is it a regional thing – which is fine by me – I’m an Ohio girl too.

What is the deal with using a WALGREENS COUPON

and how come – You are the only one in the walgreens coupon usage loop?

    HUM?
