This year Bobby and I did something we’ve been wanting to do for a couple of years now. We bought the kids a swing set! We have a big yard by city standards, and we wanted to make better use of it. This year we finally made it happen! So my dearest darling husband assembled this bad boy:
It is awesome! We got it at Toys ‘R Us. I have no idea what brand it is but it’s been great! Look how much fun the kids are having on it!
Yesterday we had a massive play date with four families from house church. There were nine kids ages 1-6 running around, climbing, swinging, and it was GREAT! Truly an awesome afternoon. And we’re in that 2-week period where Ohio weather is absolutely perfect, so we are making the most of it! Sophie and I have been outside a ton this week.
So, I’m super in love with our swing set and so are the kiddos! What are you loving this spring? To check out more of what people are digging, head over to Things I Love Thursday at the Diaper Diaries.
Lovin’ the yard.
UP
I could NOT live without my swingset. It is a lifesaver!!
I love to see those children enjoying simple pleasures!
Yeah, I agree! my dad got our kids the exact same swingset for Christmas, and the kids are just now able to enjoy it!
When we got our kids a swing set, I worked tirelessly to put it together and the first time my daughter swung she said that it was the best day of my life.
That is so nice! The kids look like they love it already!
So, am I the only one that notices that Bobby not only buys you everything you want but he also builds/installs/fixes everything too? Jenny, I think the man may not just be selling something “suspicious” but he could be hitting it too to get that energy! LOL (totally kidding by the way)
As the wise and classy Salt ‘n Peppa said “What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man.”
Yay!
Oh my gosh Jenny that little miss of your has gotten so big! I can’t believe how long her hair is!
Hope you are doing well. xoxo
My grandkids just got a swingset/slide/castle/sandbox for their yard. We just celebrated Easter by hiding easter eggs all around and inside the set. Owen is barely two and he had a great time, ellie is still too young.
These sets give so many hours of enjoyment to our kids.
Yours are adorable!
Your kids are SOooooo cute. And, I now have that Salt n Peppa song stuck in my head! Thanks, Andrea!
