So Much Bliss, So Little Time

Ok, SO…BlissDom ’09 was amazing. I cannot really describe it. I had the BEST time and was pretty much GIDDY all weekend. And since Emily *loves* it when I am giddy, that worked out really well. Seriously, though, it was great for Em and me to spend some time together that was not at a family function or a playdate! It had been way too long. But alas, the weekend was short…I could have done with a couple more days of bliss!

I loved the sessions at BlissDom, in particular a great panel on passion in writing with Steph of Adventures in Babywearing, Catherine of Her Bad Mother, and Shannon of Rocks in My Dryer. Those ladies BROUGHT IT!

But of course, being a social butterfly, I was most excited about seeing and meeting so many amazing women, some of whom I already “knew” from the blogosphere and some I was lucky enough to just meet for the first time!

I was so excited to meet my friend Rachel, of A Southern Fairytale (and I was not disappointed):

Two of the sassiest girls in the blogosphere, Emily and VDog:

Here’s the funny and amazing AmyinOhio (who also knows how to organize a great PARTAY):

I was privileged to moderate a panel that featured this smart smart smart and hilarious lady, Leslie, aka Mrs. Flinger:

I got to hook up once again with my bloggy BFF, Jill:

I loved meeting the chic & sweet Jo-Lynne, I knew I would love her and I did and DO!

And of course I had to smoosh my face up against She Who Brought BlissDom Into Being, Alli:

I am so thankful for the time I got to spend at BlissDom this weekend…more stories still to come! For a great BlissDom-related laugh, check out my BFF Luanne’s post on what was “Overheard at BlissDom”– add your own fave BlissDom quotes!

  1. I had a great time too! (even though we had to go to the elevator #13 incident). If anything good could come from that experience, I now know what croc’s I’m getting…you had some hot shoes girl!

  2. Jenny, I enjoyed meeting you–I wish we could’ve chatted longer! I’m so glad you enjoyed our session–I thought you did a great job on the design one. I learned so much!

  3. Glad I got to meet you at Blissdom although briefly. Wasn’t it amazing. I’m seriously going through withdrawal and nearly google searched Blissdom10 registration info today! LOL!

Looking forward to getting to know you better through your blog!
