Welcome to Pin for the Wednesdays!
Jenny and I threw a little baby shower a few weeks ago, and one of my jobs was taking care of decorations. I’m not exactly crafty, believe it or not, but I scoured pinterest to find something I thought I could do.
Here’s where I found the idea, and I modified it slightly to make it my own (read: to make it easier).
I bought clothes line, clothes pins, foam letters, foam stars, onesies, and…
It was very cute, and couldn’t have been easier. Best of all, the “decorations” were useful and didn’t have to be thrown away at the end of the day.
What have you been pinning this week? We’d love for you to play along!
Here are just a few rules:
1) In your post, please link to your original source – the pin you got the idea from.
2) Make sure and link back to our original Pin For the Wednesdays Post here at Mommin’ It Up! (please!)
3) In the Mr. Linky below, leave a direct link to your Pin FTWednesdays post, not to your main website.
4) Totally optional – grab our cute #PinFTW button! The code box is over there in our sidebar.
I’m throwing a baby shower in a few weeks so thanks for another great idea! I hope you like my first duct tape project!
Do you see my link? It just keeps showing me the widget over and over again… not sure if it’s going thru…
Dau-in-law used a great pinterest idea when packing up her kids’ clothes for a trip. She put each day’s outfit in a zip-loc bag and marked it with the child’s name and the day of the week it was to be worn. She had a separate bag for swim suit and one for pjs. Seemed to work very well!
I love the onesie decorations! And I really love that it’s useful. I hate decorating for a party or event and throwing everything away after just a couple of hours.
Totes cute! Love it!
I love the idea of being able to use everything afterwards! Perfect idea for any babyshower, already purchased some decs but will make sure to make some of my own for my sisters shower, thank you!
