Today’s Pin for the Wednesdays couldn’t be simpler – it’s fruit on a stick. That’s all!
I found the original pin a little over a year ago, back when Pinterest was brand-spanking new. Given the red, white and blue theme, I made them for Memorial Day.
I intended to make those again this time around, but lack of available fruit led me to the multi-colored approach above! Had I been really creative, I would have done this:
Actually, the random way worked well – everyone could find a combination of the fruit they wanted. And they were pretty! They were a big hit with adults and kids alike. The only issue was that they are super sharp and the kids wanted to grab them and then run around. Not quite sure how to fix that one yet!
But really, food is more fun on a stick. This was a win!
What have you been pinning and actually doing? We’d love to hear!
here are just a few rules:
1) In your post, please link to your original source – the pin you got the idea from.
2) Make sure and link back to our original Pin For the Wednesdays Post here at Mommin’ It Up! (please!)
3) In the Mr. Linky below, leave a direct link to your Pin FTWednesdays post, not to your main website.
4) Totally optional – grab our cute #PinFTW button! The code box is over there in our sidebar.
